Abstract: A method for forming a textile article includes the steps of providing at least one shaping yarn and at least one basic yarn; processing the shaping yarn and the basic yarn to form a primitive textile structure; fitting the primitive textile structure to a shaping mold; applying high temperature to heat the primitive textile structure so as to have the shaping yarn included in the primitive textile structure heated and molten to form a shaping film covering the basic yarn; applying a low temperature to solidify the shaping film that covers the basic yarn so as to fix a shape of the primitive textile structure to form a shaped textile structure; and removing the shaped textile structure of which the shape is fixed from the shaping mold.

Abstract: A shoe structure includes a shoe body knitted from at least one yarn in unitary structure with only one opening for receiving a foot of a wear therein. The shoe body includes an upper section, a sole section, and a rear section connected by knitting without any sewing portion when the shoe body is formed. The upper section corresponds to fore and lateral portions of the foot. The sole section supports a sole portion of the foot. The rear section corresponds to a heel portion of the foot, wherein the shoe body consists of multiple courses and wales formed by the at least one yarn. The wales in the upper section extend along a direction perpendicular to a receiving direction of the opening into the shoe body.

A first duct is coupled to the first inlet, and a second duct is coupled to the second inlet. A flow guide vane is disposed within the battery inlet housing adjacent to the first inlet. The flow guide vane is positioned to redirect flow from the first duct to mix with flow from the second duct.

The shoe-forming piece includes a first shoe cover and a second shoe cover. The first shoe cover and the second shoe cover are symmetric to each other. The first shoe cover includes a first shoe body and a first opening. The second shoe body includes a second shoe body and a second opening. The first opening and the second opening are coupled to each other. The first shoe body is inserted through the second opening to have the first shoe body received in the second shoe body and then subjected to thermoplastic molding to form the structure of shoe. As such, advantages of making the manufacturing process efficient and easy and reducing the manufacturing cost can be achieved.

The vehicle may be an electric vehicle such as a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) or a battery-only electric vehicle (BEV). A signal indicating a blockage of air flow through the battery is generated in response to a difference in temperature exceeding a predetermined magnitude. The difference in temperature is between (i) the intake passage and (ii) the passenger cabin.

Abstract: A server system and method is proposed for use with an automatic storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) to allow a user to perform AS/RS controls and access related inventory management data. The proposed AS/RS server system and method is characterized by the use of a point-to-point multiplex communication interface, such as a TCP/IP communication interface, instead of SQL server as in the case of the prior art, for performing data transmission between the control platform and the main server. The SQL server is only used for storing the history of user-issued commands and related AS/RS operating status data. Compared to the prior art, the proposed AS/RS server system and method allows the utilization of DCOM (Distributed Component Object Model) modules for control of the data exchange among the main server, the SQL server, and the control platform, so that it can be implemented without the use of QEODBC drivers, thereby eliminating the problems caused by the use of QEODBC driver in the prior art.

Abstract: A method and a system for downloading data from an auto-storage database are proposed, allowing a server to perform one-time data retrieval for transmitting data to terminal devices that request for data downloading. Upon receiving a connection request from a terminal device, the server stores an IP address of the terminal device into an IP address temporary storage area. Then, the server starts timing, and performs one-time data retrieval for retrieving data from a database if counted time reaches a preset time value pre-stored in the server. The retrieved data is transmitted by the server to the terminal device whose IP address is stored in the IP address temporary storage area, and then the terminal device requests for terminating the connection to the server for stopping data transmission. The foregoing method and system are advantageous of not to occupy too much network bandwidth even in operation of many terminal devices.

Abstract: A method for storing records in a database or reading the same therefrom includes the steps of editing data of a non-indexed field of a conventional database as a string of comment characters through a conversion table so as to store the same in a remark field of the database; and showing contents of data of the non-indexed field on a screen of the database by referring to the conversion table in reading the string of comment characters contained in the remark field of the database.
