  • Publication number: 20210326559
Abstract: Sensing pixels each store a sensing voltage level. A method for driving the plurality of sensing pixels includes providing a plurality of readout scan signals to the plurality of sensing pixels, and providing a plurality of reset scan signals to the plurality of sensing pixels. One of the plurality of readout scan signals enables one of the plurality of sensing pixels to output the sensing voltage level stored in the one of the plurality of sensing pixels. One of plurality of reset scan signals resets the sensing voltage level stored in one of the plurality of sensing pixels. One of the plurality of reset scan signals is generated by converting one of the plurality of readout scan signals with a level shift circuit or one of the plurality of readout scan signals is generated by converting one of the plurality of reset scan signals with a level shift circuit.

  • Patent number: 10942651
Abstract: A network attached storage (NAS) cluster can run with a set of heterogeneous hardware nodes, where not all nodes in the cluster have access to the same target connectivities. In one aspect, network data management protocol (NDMP) sessions can be redirected from a first node of the NAS cluster to a second node of the NAS cluster to balance NDMP load across the NAS cluster and improve resource utilization across cluster. Further, the NDMP load can be actively monitored to balance it continuously to increase resource utilization efficiency.

  • Patent number: 10372553
Abstract: Performing parallel file restoration from a serialized storage device using a network data management protocol is presented herein. A system can comprise a reader, a parser component, and a set of writers. The reader can be configured to copy data from a tape drive to memory buffers as buffered data. The parser component can be configured to determine, within the buffered data, a location of a file header record representing a file that has been stored in the tape drive, and generate, based on the file header record, a header work item for facilitating restoration of the file in a file system. Further, the set of writers can be configured to create, based on the header work item using the buffered data, the file in the file system.

  • Publication number: 20190129802
Abstract: Implementations are provided herein for providing a consistent view of file during an extended backup process of a file system using a persistent cache layer to tier data to an external repository. A snapshot of the files that are targeted for backup can be taken. A deep write-back operation can then be processed that includes processing all outstanding write-back operations and associated convert-and-store-metadata operations for each file targeted in the backup process. After the deep write-back process finishes, a backup index of the storage layer can be generated and the backup can be performed relying on a consistent view of the storage layer being preserved throughout the backup process.

  • Patent number: 9501487
Abstract: Implementations are provided herein for incremental backup using a change tree. A change tree is a database file for tracking file system changes of a specific dataset, such as a directory of a file system. A backup process can create and/or initiate a change tree when creating a backup snapshot of a dataset. After the change tree is created, all file system changes inside the dataset can be tracked. The next incremental backup can then take advantage of the change tree to backup changes without traversing the entire dataset. Thus, incremental backups can be more efficient and are better able to keep up with tape streaming speed.

  • Patent number: 9384200
Abstract: The subject disclosure is directed towards the parallel backing up of a file system. A file system tree structure is walked by parallel workers that write file system data to data storage devices in parallel streams. Work assigned to one worker may be split to an idle worker to provide parallel operation. Relationship data that maintains relationships between the streams is persisted (e.g., via reference data inserted into the streams) so that a restore mechanism is able to stitch the streams together back into the file system data. Also persisted is location data that maintains storage locations of the streams. A file's data also may be written into parallel streams.
