  • Patent number: 8362497
Abstract: An LED lamp with improved die arrangement includes a main board equipped with a plurality of lines of light-emitting dies. The lines of the light-emitting dies are spaced by a distance equal to or greater than 0.38 mm. A number of the light-emitting dies in each of the lines may be added or reduced for fitting the main board. The light-emitting dies in one of the lines may be aligned with or offset from the light-emitting dies in the adjacent line. The LED lamp may have the light-emitting dies deployed in both of the aligned manner and the offset manner, so that the light-emitting dies fit a desired lighting pattern of the LED lamp and the LED lamp illuminates with enhanced uniformity and brightness.

  • Publication number: 20120255717
Abstract: An improved heat-dissipation structure for a matrix LED lamp is disclosed. The heat-dissipation structure is a plate-shaped metal hood configured to hold an LED matrix module for heat dissipation so as to maintain the entire matrix LED lamp cool. The heat-dissipation structure is a plate-shaped metal shell having a plurality of threaded holes allowing the LED matrix module to be fixed thereto. In virtue of the tight contact between the bottom of the LED matrix module and the plate-shaped metal hood, heat generated by the LED matrix module can be quickly absorbed and dissipated by the plate-shaped metal hood, so as to prevent the LED matrix module from premature aging, thereby enlightening the service life of the LED matrix module.

  • Publication number: 20120127726
Abstract: A gain structure of an LED tubular lamp for uniforming light and dissipating heat is disclosed. The gain structure allows the LED tubular lamp to give out even illuminance without eye-offending peak illuminance of LED chips. The LED tubular lamp has an illuminator, which includes a substrate equipped with spaced LED chips, wherein the LED chips are arranged in a density equal to or greater than 2 chips/cm2, so that the LED chips illuminate through the frosted housing jointly present pleasing, uniform illuminance. The substrate is provided with metal sheets serving to absorb heat generated by the LED chips that are illuminating, so as to accelerate heat dissipation and thereby prevent the LED chips from premature aging that degrade their brightness.

  • Publication number: 20120044695
Abstract: An improved heat dissipation structure for an LED lamp is provided. The heat dissipation structure, featuring low cost and a significant heat dissipation effect, includes a metal lamp housing. The inner side of the metal lamp housing is formed with a light-reflecting surface and a planar mounting surface for mounting and positioning the LED lamp. The backside of the mounting surface is mounted with a heat dissipating block. The heat generated by the LED lamp during light emission is conducted through the mounting surface of the metal lamp housing to the heat dissipating block, which absorbs the heat and dissipates the heat rapidly.
