    Abstract: An automatic technique for a timely diagnostic uses a cloud service and includes (1) after a memory dump file is generated, uploading the dump file and system configurations to an analysis server, (2) extracting key call stacks from the dump file in the server, (3) searching a cloud-based knowledge base for entries corresponding to contents of the call stack and the system configurations (like model, SW version, etc.), these entries representing known issues having similar call stack contents and/or system configurations. If relevant knowledge base entries are found, then they are used to identify a root cause and suggest solutions. If no relevant knowledge base entries are found, this result is reported along with any other potentially useful data from the dump file analysis, such as an identification of a product area for a program identified by the dump file name.

    Abstract: A pneumatic liquid on-line automatic balancer of a rotor includes: a sealed balancing disk rotating with a balanced rotor and a pressure transfer device mated with the sealed balancing disk. At least two pairs of centrosymmetric chambers filled with appropriate balancing liquid are evenly distributed in the sealed balancing disk. The pressure transfer device controls compressed gas in and out of the chamber and makes the balancing liquid controllably flow in each pair of chambers to achieve dynamic balance of the rotor. A communicating channel of the balancing liquid is provided between each pair of the chambers. The communicating channel of the balancing liquid is one and a center of the communicating channel of the balancing liquid is communicated with the balancing channel pointed to a center of rotation. The balancing channel is communicated with an emptying channel opened to atmosphere.

The layout supports client switching between different bitrates at segment boundaries. Optimized client-side rate control of streaming content can be provided by defining a plurality of states, selecting available paths based on constraint conditions, and selecting a best path through the states (e.g., based on a distortion measure). In one client-side rate control solution states correspond to a specific bitrate of a specific streaming segment, and in another client-side rate control solution states correspond to a measure of client buffer fullness.

    Abstract: Multi-channel hole-filling for audio compression is disclosed. Channel dependency groups (CDGs) are explicitly extracted based on channel transform information. Holes are detected within each CDG for each bark, and a CDG hole is identified as requiring filling as a particular section of frequency bandwidth larger than a predetermined hole bandwidth threshold and with all zero-value coefficients in all channels after quantizing. Bark weights are adjusted by multiplying the original bark weights with one calculated scalar so as to remove each detected CDG hole.
