Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for correcting playing actions performed by a player for playing a game, in accordance with some embodiments. Accordingly, the apparatus comprises sensors, a processing device, and an output device. Further, a first sensor generates first sensor data based on detecting a passing of a first body part through a first sensor field of view and a second sensor generates second sensor data based on detecting a passing of a second body part through a second sensor field of view. Further, the processing device analyzes the first sensor data and the second sensor data, recognizes the first body part in a first area and the second body part in a second area, determines a presence of the first body part and the second body part, determines a correctness of a playing action, and generates a cueing command. Further, the output device produces a cue.

  • Patent number: 11192170
Abstract: The profile shape of the vessel body and of handle portion is formed from a single sheet of metal to create a flat by cutting, stamping or blanking. An opening is created in the handle portion to reduce heat propagation. The shape of the pan body is formed by spinning with the flat handle portion. The handle is formed by creating three-dimensional contours in the handle portion of the blank. The neck portion has a flat section adjacent the pan body followed by sections of different curvature. One section of the neck portion has a deeply curved cross-section. That neck portion transitions to the hand grip portion which has a reduced curvature, particularly toward the unattached end of the handle. The neck portion may have a “W” cross sectional shape. The handle grip portion may have a “U” shaped cross-section for comfort.

  • Publication number: 20210374443
Abstract: A disclosed system is configured to estimate an attention state of a subject within a scene. An imaging camera captures digital images of the subject and one or more light sources illuminate the subject during a period in which the digital images are captured. The system also includes a processor that processes the captured images to generate subject attention data of the subject. The processor further generates a primary visual attention ray of the subject from current subject attention data; generates a distribution of visual attention rays having an origin common to the primary visual attention ray; projects the visual attention rays onto a digital representation of the scene having a plurality of predefined regions of interest; determines an intersection of the projected visual attention rays with one or more of the regions of interest; and based on the intersection, estimates an attention state of the subject's attention.

  • Publication number: 20210365702
Abstract: A disclosed monitoring system includes infrared light sources that illuminate a subject in a sequenced manner and a camera that captures images of the subject during periods in which the subject is illuminated by one of the light sources. The system includes a processor that analyzes captured images to determine a brightness measure of the images, and a controller controls output power of the infrared light sources in response to the brightness measure. In response to the processor detecting a brightness measure below a predetermined brightness threshold, the controller is configured to switch off or reduce an output illumination intensity of one of the infrared light sources. A disclosed method further determines whether an emission source is occluded by modulating an intensity of an electromagnetic emission source, detecting whether the modulation pattern is present in captured images, and determining that the emission source is occluded based on the detected modulation.
