  • Patent number: 11975215
Abstract: Systems, devices, and related methods for phototherapeutic treatment of skin, and more particularly phototherapeutic treatments for skin conditioning and/or the treatment of skin wrinkles are disclosed. Certain aspects relate to impinging light having a first peak wavelength on skin tissue at a first radiant flux, a second peak wavelength on the skin tissue at a second radiant flux, and, optionally, a third peak wavelength on skin tissue at a third radiant flux. The first wavelength may be selected to produce nitric oxide in the skin and/or to release endogenous stores of nitric oxide; the second wavelength may be selected to promote collagen production. Certain methods involve impinging light having a third peak wavelength that may be selected to reduce inflammation. Devices are disclosed that include combinations of housings, light-transmissive elements, and flexible substrates that are configured to deliver such light to one or more targeted areas.

  • Publication number: 20240140814
Abstract: A process for removing carbon dioxide from a material includes introducing the material onto a first segment of a conveyance system comprising the first segment and a second segment that is physically separated from the first segment, heating the material at the first segment for a first time using a first infrared emitter, conveying the material from the first segment to the second segment, and heating the material at the second segment for a second time using a second infrared emitter. The carbon dioxide removed from the material can be captured by a vacuum pump and stored, and the vacuum pump can maintain a partial pressure for the process. The process can be used to create lime and clinker with minimal CO2 emissions and to remove CO2 that is stored in various materials.

  • Publication number: 20240141716
Abstract: The door sill includes a sill deck and a rail carrier assembly having a function of height adjustment. The rail carrier assembly is configured on the sill deck. The rail carrier assembly includes a rail cap, a rail carrier, an adjustment nut and an adjustment screw. The rail cap is snapped onto an upper end of the rail carrier. A groove is formed in the sill deck for the rail carrier to fit in. A nut installation hole is formed in the rail carrier. The adjustment nut is assembled at the nut installation hole, and is in threaded fit with the adjustment screw. The adjustment screw drives the adjustment nut to move up or down in an axial direction of the adjustment screw through rotation, thereby altering the height of the rail carrier fitted in the groove and altering the height of the rail cap.

  • Patent number: 11974011
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods to deliver location restricted content to devices that do not have a location component, such as a Global Positioning System component. A location aware device may send to a content delivery service, location information determined by a location component of the location aware device and receive, from the content delivery service, an encrypted access token. The location aware device may then send the access token to a non-location aware device that is on a same local area network as the location aware device. The non-location aware device may provide the access token to the content delivery service along with a request for location restricted content. The content delivery service may use the access token provided by the non-location aware device to verify that the non-location aware device is within a defined area for which the requested location restricted content is allowed for presentation.

  • Patent number: 11970883
Abstract: Disclosed is a tamper proof tag and accompanying method for verifying that a watch is authentic and has not been tampered with. The tamper proof tag, when affixed to the watch, ensures that the watch is authentic and prevents a user from tampering with the watch. The tamper proof tag also allows the watch to be worn while the tamper proof tag is affixed to watch and is minimally obstructive to the aesthetics of the watch. This provides a purchasing user with confidence that the watch is authentic, while also allowing the user to try on the watch without having to remove the tamper proof tag. The tamper proof tag also protects the seller from a user that may attempt to tamper with the watch after purchase. For example, the seller may condition returns for a sold watch on the tamper proof tag remaining affixed to the watch.
