  • Patent number: 11962860
Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include systems for generating personalized avatar reactions during live video broadcasts. For example, the systems and methods described herein can access a social networking system user's profile to identify an avatar associated with the social networking system user. The systems and methods can generate an avatar reaction by modifying one or more features of the avatar based on a corresponding emoticon reaction. Once generated, the social networking system user can select the avatar reaction for addition to an ephemeral reaction stream associated with a live video broadcast. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11955765
Abstract: Techniques are provided for controlling an output laser pulse signal of a medical device. A control device defines a time duration of capacitive discharge to a laser device. The time duration corresponds to an intended energy of the output laser pulse signal. The control device generates a plurality of sub-pulse control signals. The sub-pulse control signals define a series of capacitive discharge events of the capacitor bank. The control device modulates one or more of a sub-pulse control signal period or a sub-pulse time duration of the sub-pulse control signals to modify the capacitive discharge of the capacitor bank to the laser device during the time duration.

  • Publication number: 20240105271
Abstract: Technology is disclosed herein for preventing erase disturb in NAND. Erase voltages are applied to a source line and bit lines associated with selected memory cells, while applying an erase enable voltage to word lines connected to the selected cells. Preventing erase disturb may include raising the channel potential of unselected memory cells to a source line voltage that has a sufficiently low magnitude to not erase the unselected cells given a voltage on word lines connected to the unselected cells. The unselected cells share bit lines with the selected cells and may also share word lines. Preventing erase disturb may also include applying voltages to the select transistors that prevent the erase voltage from passing from the shared bit lines to the channels of the unselected cells. The voltages decrease from the bit lines to the unselected memory cells and may prevent GIDL generation. Current consumption is kept low.

  • Publication number: 20240103748
Abstract: Direct data transfer between devices having a shared bus may be implemented with reduced involvement from a controller associated with the devices. A controller, a source memory device, and a target memory device may be coupled with a shared bus. The controller may identify a source address at the source memory device for data to be transferred to the target memory device. The controller also may identify a target address in the target memory device, and initiate a data transfer directly from the source to the target through a command that is received at both the source and the target memory device. In response to the command, the source memory device may read data out to the bus, and the target memory may read the data from the bus and store the data starting at the target address without further commands from the controller.

  • Publication number: 20240095060
Abstract: Systems and methods are taught for providing customers of a cloud computing service to control when updates affect the services provided to the customers. Because multiple customers share the cloud's infrastructure, each customer may have conflicting preferences for when an update and associated downtime occurs. Preventing and resolving conflicts between the preferences of multiple customers while providing them with input for scheduling a planned update may reduce the inconvenience posed by updates. Additionally, the schedule for the update may be transmitted to customers so that they can prepare for the downtime of services associated with the update.
