  • Patent number: 10093539
Abstract: The invention relates a method for storing a solution of methane and a C2-C30 hydrocarbon, the method comprising: mixing gaseous methane and a C2-C30 hydrocarbon to provide a mixture of methane and C2-C30 hydrocarbon, wherein the mixture comprises greater than or equal to about 50 mole percent of methane; maintaining the mixture of methane and C2-C30 hydrocarbon as a liquid solution at a pressure of 30 to 150 bar within a storage vessel, wherein the storage vessel comprises a porous adsorbent framework. The invention also relates to similar methods for storing hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide. The invention also relates to the use of a non-polar solvent such as a hydrocarbon for storing a non-polar gas in a porous adsorbent framework.

  • Patent number: 10086767
Abstract: A feature shown as trim piece or tab intended to provide a barrier or obstruction for items placed on top of the trim piece are disclosed. An interior trim component includes multiple substantially parallel ribs each configured to engage a track to facilitate movement of the interior trim component along the track. The interior trim component also includes a substrate having an outer surface and a rear surface. The outer surface is configured to face an interior of a vehicle and the rear surface is coupled to the substantially parallel ribs. The interior trim component further includes a barrier or obstruction extending upwardly from the outer surface while in an open position. The barrier or obstruction is configured to engage an item adjacent to the outer surface to block movement of the item relative to the interior trim component. The barrier or obstruction is configured to retract into a retracted position that facilitates movement of the interior trim component relative to a proximate structure.

  • Publication number: 20180176367
Abstract: A process for real-time data exchange allows for sharing data, including metadata such as user data and phone data, between multiple handsets so that handsets may automatically display such data upon initiation or establishment of a telephone call, and in some arrangements throughout the life of the call. In this way, the need for subsequent data transmissions is reduced or eliminated, making bandwidth usage more efficient and conserving battery power.

  • Patent number: 10003951
Abstract: Embodiments of the system herein use a mobile device of a user to act as an onboard camera and capture video of the environment surrounding the user's vehicle and/or telematics data about the user's vehicle. The system can detect when a user has begun to operate the vehicle, for example based on mobile device power information and the proximity/connection of the mobile device to a device associated with the vehicle, and automatically begin onboard camera recording or prompt the user to begin onboard camera recording. The recorded videos and/or telematics data can be locally stored on the mobile device, or in some embodiments transferred to an outside server for storage.

  • Publication number: 20170286878
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for the organization, management, and graphical display of multiple logically related entities. In some embodiments, the systems and methods provide the real-time display of status and location information for a fleet of tracked vehicles. In some embodiments, the systems and methods permit the automatic clustering of assets based on a user's view of an underlying map. In some embodiments, the assets are vehicles that are a part of a managed fleet. In some embodiments, the assets are logically arranged into clusters of like assets. In some embodiments, the clusters provide graphical indications of status or class information of their underlying assets.

  • Patent number: 9384597
Abstract: Currently vehicles typically include an engine computer that outputs diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) that are indicative of some fault condition in a vehicle. DTCs can tell a specific problem with a particular part such as that a cylinder in an engine is misfiring, but do not provide any indication as to the cause of the problem and do not propose any solutions for solving the problem. This disclosure advantageously describes systems that can analyze DTCs and other telematics data using crowdsourcing principles to recommend vehicle maintenance and other solutions.
