  • Publication number: 20200189808
Abstract: A case for securely transporting high-value consumer goods includes a case body having a main cavity within which the high-value consumer goods may be stored for transporting and a lid including a door. The case body has installed or formed thereon a first linking mechanism portion and the lid has installed or formed thereon a second linking mechanism portion that interacts with the first linking mechanism portion to link and unlink the lid to the case body. The door, when closed, covers the first linking mechanism portion and the second linking mechanism portion and, when open, exposes at least one of the first linking mechanism portion and the second linking mechanism portion such that linking and unlinking of the lid to the case body is possible only when the door is open.

  • Publication number: 20200008549
Abstract: A hair styling apparatus includes a top arm and a bottom arm each having a handle end and a tip end opposite the handle end. The top arm and the bottom arm are rotatably connected at the handle ends for relative movement from an open position to a closed position. The apparatus also includes a top plate disposed on the top arm adjacent the top arm's tip end and having a top main surface, and a bottom plate disposed on the bottom arm adjacent the bottom arm's tip end and having a bottom main surface that, in the closed position, contacts the top main surface, the top main surface and the bottom main surface complementarily curve as they extend away from the handle end towards the tip end.

  • Patent number: 10350748
Abstract: Examples of the present invention include tool storage units and methods for storing tools. In examples of the present invention, a tool storage unit comprises a moveable housing with a guide system for allowing movement of the moveable housing in at least one direction. In various examples, the moveable housing is engaged with a base unit and is moved relative to the base unit by a moving mechanism. The moving mechanism moves the moveable housing to provide access to and/or conceal, at least in part, the moveable housing.

  • Publication number: 20190133873
Abstract: Compression garment systems and methods may deliver fluid to one or more fluid cells using a target pressure and an adjustable manifold pressure that may be adjusted to, for example, deliver an amount of fluid to the one or more fluid cells to achieve the desired target pressure. Further, the compression garment systems and methods may provide a graphical user interface depicting a human-shaped graphical element and a compression therapy graphical indication about the human-shaped graphical element. The compression therapy graphical indication may indicate, or show, where on the human-shaped graphical element the compression therapy may be delivered to. Still further, the compression garment systems and methods may include or use a communication interface to determine or identify a compression garment to be used therewith. The identity of the compression garment can be used to configure compression therapy for the compression garment.

  • Publication number: 20180149304
Abstract: An adjustable support structure having a telescoping assembly that is movable by a drive mechanism between a collapsed position and an extended position. The telescoping assembly may include a latching mechanism that cooperates with one or more telescopic support members to permit or restrict movement of one or more support members relative to each other, which may depend on the position of the support members as the telescoping assembly is collapsed or extended. The drive mechanism may include linkages and a catch mechanism configured to cooperate with the latching mechanism for permitting or restricting relative movement between support members, and which may enable sequential telescopic extension or retraction of the support members. The linkages may be adapted to fit within one or more of the telescopic support members, such that the linkages may support a portion of the load, and may enhance stability by restricting lateral movement within the support members.
