  • Publication number: 20030164121
Abstract: A personal table is provided having a table top supported by a support assembly. The table top is preferably constructed from blow-molded plastic and the support assembly preferably includes a first leg and a second leg that are pivotally connected. The legs desirably have a generally X-shaped configuration when the legs are placed in an upright position and the legs can be collapsed into a storage position. Each of the legs may include a lower portion, a body portion and an upper portion that is preferably selectively connected to the table top. The legs, for example, can be connected to the table top by inserting the upper portions of the legs into leg receiving recess formed in the table top. The leg receiving recesses are preferably integrally formed in the bottom surface of the table top as part of a one-piece construction.

  • Patent number: 6176374
Abstract: A container system for storing and transporting sensitive components such as semiconductor chips is disclosed. The container system includes in combination, a housing and a plurality of component carriers for receiving components to be stored and transported in stacked banks. The plurality of component carriers are stacked one on top of the other in a top-to-bottom stacked arrangement within the housing. An underside bottom surface of a first component carrier provides a top cover to a second component carrier positioned immediately below the first component carrier, wherein a component carrier includes a compartmental core for storing components on a top surface thereof in segmented row compartments, each segmented row compartment having sidewall surfaces and a bottom surface.

  • Patent number: 5856424
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing a high molecular weight polyester having less than about 0.5 weight % diethylene glycol comprising adding at least one carbonate compound to the ester exchange reaction product produced from reaction of a glycol component comprising ethylene glycol and an ester component comprising dimethylterephthalate, dimethylnaphthalenedicarboxylate and mixtures thereof wherein said reaction product is formed without a Ti catalyst.

  • Patent number: 5686413
Abstract: Combined administration of a growth hormone related substance and ractopamine, cimaterol, clenbuterol, L-644,969, or albuterol to swine provides improved growth feed efficiency, and carcass quality. Administration of ractopamine, cimaterol, clenbuterol, L-644,969, or albuterol to swine that also receive growth hormone related substance reduces greater than normal blood sugar and insulin levels.

  • Patent number: 5499457
Abstract: A device for measuring the length and weight of an infant. The device includes a tray into which the infant is placed. The tray is located on a scale that is used to determine the infant's weight. A length measuring device is located adjacent the tray and includes a wand that extends into the tray and moves slidably along the length of the tray. An infant is placed within the tray so that the head of the infant is adjacent one end of the tray. The wand then slidably moves toward the infant until it contacts the sole of the infant's foot at which time a length measurement is taken. The length measuring device includes a breakaway switch and a rocker switch that stops the movement of the wand if it contacts the infant or another obstruction.

  • Patent number: 3968012
Abstract: An inexpensive disposable test kit for conveniently collecting airborne aerosol particulates on a bacteriological culture medium for determining the bacterial contamination of effluent air from respiratory equipment in hospitals and clinics. A collecting dish erves as a removable bottom on a cylindrical casing or main body. The latter has an integral guide funnel supported in its open upper end for directing the affluent stream downwardly against the culture medium in the dish. Apertures in an annular supporting web for the guide funnel, together with the convergence of the funnel with the casing wall help induce the flow of effluent in a pattern giving predictable or measured exposure of the culture medium to contact by the aerosol particulates. A removable sanitary cap for the funnel end of the casing serves subsequently as a protective cover for the culture medium dish when the latter is detached as a petri dish carrying the culture thus collected for incubation and examination.
