  • Patent number: 9959789
Abstract: A sheet assembly and method is provided for applying a facestock layer to a substrate. The facestock layer may include a facestock bridge portion with an adhesive layer. A liner sheet is attached to the facestock layer and may include a strip portion having a first dimension that is configured to be removed to expose a portion of the adhesive layer under the facestock bridge portion. The sheet assembly is positioned as desired and the facestock bridge portion is adhered to the substrate to anchor the sheet assembly to the substrate and allow the remaining liner sheet to be removed in a generally aligned manner as desired. The facestock layer may be made of a see-through material. The facestock layer may be a label. • Publication number: 20170080741
Abstract: A repositionable medium includes a base, a paper, and a first repositionable adhesive. The base has a top surface, a bottom surface, a first end edge, and a second end edge. The paper is fixedly coupled to the top surface of the base proximate to the first end edge. The paper has an inner edge and an outer edge. The outer edge is closer to the first end edge than the inner edge is to the first end edge. The inner edge is spaced a first distance from the first end edge of the base. The first repositionable adhesive is fixed to the bottom surface of the base and is not present in a first low adhesion area at a line across a width of the base and spaced a second distance from the second end edge of the base. The second distance equals the length of the first distance.
