  • Publication number: 20240075191
Abstract: The disclosed subject matter relates to extracorporeal blood processing or other processing of fluids. Volumetric fluid balance, a required element of many such processes, may be achieved with multiple pumps or other proportioning or balancing devices which are to some extent independent of each other. This need may arise in treatments that involve multiple fluids. Safe and secure mechanisms to ensure fluid balance in such systems are described.

  • Patent number: 11874593
Abstract: A vehicular camera assembly includes a lens barrel accommodating at least an outer lens element and an inner lens element. An imager printed circuit board (imager PCB) includes an imager disposed at a side. The lens barrel is disposed at the housing such that the imager is aligned with the inner lens element and the outer lens element, with the inner lens element disposed closer to the imager than the outer lens element. A vacuum exists in a space between the outer lens element and the inner lens element to thermally insulate an outer surface of the outer lens element from an inner surface of the inner lens element. Light passing through the outer lens element, the vacuum, and the inner lens element is imaged by the imager.

  • Publication number: 20220377213
Abstract: A vehicular camera system includes a vehicular camera including a camera housing and an imager printed circuit board (imager PCB). The camera housing includes a first portion and a second portion joined with the first portion. The first portion includes a lens barrel accommodating a lens that includes a plurality of lens optics. The imager PCB includes an imager and is attached at the first portion of the camera housing with the imager aligned with the lens. With the imager aligned with the lens, the lens focuses an image at the imager. After the imager PCB is attached at the first portion of the camera housing with the imager aligned with the lens, at least one lens optic of the lens is laser processed to adjust the focus of the lens at the imager.

  • Patent number: 11438487
Abstract: A vehicular camera module for a vehicular vision system includes a housing having a front housing portion and a rear housing portion. A circuit board includes a circuit board substrate having electronic circuitry disposed thereat. A thermal interface material is molded at an inner surface of the housing. The front housing portion is attached at the circuit board and the rear housing portion is mated with the front housing portion to encase the circuit board. The thermal interface material is formed to interface with electronic components of the circuit board and may conform with the electronic components at the circuit board substrate when the front housing portion is attached at the circuit board and/or when the rear housing portion is mated with the front housing portion. A connector element in electrical contact with circuitry of the circuit board is configured to connect to a connector end of a wire harness.

  • Publication number: 20210097208
Abstract: A technique allows a user to project content onto a shared display region in a controlled manner. The technique involves receiving context information that describes a context in which a user is currently interacting with a local user computing device. The technique then determines, based on policy logic and the context information, whether it is appropriate to invoke a private state, or to remove the private state and enter a shared state. The private state involves presenting a privacy screen on one or more shared display regions. The local user computing device remains connected to the display device(s) that host the shared display region(s) while operating in both the private state and the shared state. According to one advantage, the technique eliminates or reduces the risk that the user will inadvertently release private information to others; further, it does so without asking the user to perform burdensome preparatory actions.

  • Patent number: 10915334
Abstract: A multi-user aware (“MUA”) computing device, such a communal computing device like an interactive digital whiteboard, can enforce role-based constraints on the modification of components, such as configuration settings. The MUA computing device can be configured with universal settings, global settings, and temporal settings. Universal settings cannot be changed by users of the MUA computing device. Device owners can change global settings that apply to all users of a MUA computing device. All users of the MUA computing device can change temporal settings. Changes to temporal settings are stored in profiles associated with authenticated users but are not persisted for guest users. When all users have stopped using the MUA computing device, the device can be configured with default values for the temporal settings in order to return the device to a known state.

  • Patent number: 10751086
Abstract: A cannula assembly for use in laproscopic surgery includes a cannula having a proximal end for use in orientating the assembly into an abdominal cavity, a distal end for insertion into a patient, and a passage through which surgical instruments can be inserted. An expandable feature in the form of an anchor is located toward the distal end of the cannula and is selectively expandable and collapsible. The feature in its expanded state prevents withdrawal of the cannula. A collar is pushed distally until it releasably cinches to the outside of the abdominal cavity thereby creating an airtight seal and stabilizing the assembly. The collar has a friction fit with the cannula designed to prevent excessive force against the cavity walls.
