Abstract: An article of rolling luggage is provided. The article has a retractable or collapsible handle that is convertible between a stored position and a first extended position of use. The handle is also rotatable about an axis such that the handle can be converted between a second extended position of use. The second extended position of use is characterized in that the luggage item may be provided such that a base portion of the item is substantially adjacent to and parallel with a ground surface. Various locking means to enable conversion between the stored position, first extended position of use and second extended position of use are also provided.

Abstract: Provided is a relief valve with an inlet, and outlet, and a backside of a poppet fluidly connected to an input pressure to increasingly close the poppet as a function of input pressure until a prescribed pressure condition is reached. Upon the prescribed pressure condition being reached, the relief valve decreases pressure on the backside of the poppet to open the poppet and allow fluid flow from the inlet to the outlet. Increasingly closing the poppet allows the relief valve to operate under high pressure conditions and repeatedly open and close to reliable seal without significant leakage after thousands of cycles.

Abstract: The present invention provides an adapter apparatus and method for attaching a holster having at least one belt loop to a surface of another article. The adapter includes a flexible sheet having first and second surfaces. The sheet also has a longitudinally extending central panel with opposite ends. The width of the central panel is sized to pass through a holster belt loop. There is an end panel at each end of the central panel. The end panels have a transverse width greater than the width of the central panel. There are fastener components on the second surface corresponding to a complementary fastener component on a surface of another article. At least one end panel is foldable to a width for passage through the belt loop and then unfolded such that the fastener components will secure the sheet and holster to the surface of the other article.

Abstract: An adjustable solenoid assembly with an adjustable threaded pole having an interference fit section to be used with a complementary threaded receiver (e.g., the bore of the top plate) with an interference fit section. The adjustable threaded sections are used to pull or push the interference fit sections together and allow for precise locating of the interference fit sections and adjustment. The threaded pole may be used to set and maintain a precision working air gap between the pole piece and the plunger of the electromagnetic solenoid assembly. The interference fit holds the pole piece into location while still allowing the solenoid to be adjustable without a loss in flux density.

At least some versions of the disclosed systems enable a user to perform purchase and pickup transactions for items across multiple remote stores.
