  • Publication number: 20230168093
Abstract: In an approach for road section recognition using multi-modal cognitive mechanism, a processor receives an audio signal from a road test. A processor processes the audio signal to generate an acoustic spectrum density distribution map to identify a respective at least one road section switching point in a first mode. A processor processes a spectrogram of the audio signal to identify the respective at least one road section switching point in a second mode. A processor uses a machine learning model to predict an expected sound at each frame of the audio signal, to calculate a similarity between the expected sound and an actual sound, and to identify the respective at least one road switching point when the similarity is lower than a pre-set similarity threshold in a third mode. A processor combines results of the three modes to obtain a final set of road section switching points.

  • Publication number: 20220245393
Abstract: Aspects of the invention include generating a plurality of predictions that each define a plurality of future inputs for a model. A deviation curve is generated by determining a distance between each prediction of the plurality of predictions and a respective known data point of a plurality of known data points. One or more points in the deviation curve are sampled and the sampled points are compared to a low threshold and a high threshold. A judgement is determined for each prediction to determine whether the respective prediction will be accepted or denied as an input to the model. The future inputs for the model are modified based on the judgments.

  • Publication number: 20220175957
Abstract: CNS metastases are a major cause of cancer deaths with few therapeutic options for treatment. Monoclonal anti-body-based therapy is one of the most successful therapeutic strategies for cancer; however, its efficacy is limited against CNS metastases due to insufficient CNS delivery. Here, we show significantly improved antibody delivery to the CNS using novel timed-release nanocapsules that encapsulate individual antibodies within a crosslinked phosphorylcholine polymer and gradually release cargo through hydrolysable crosslinkers. A single course of rituximab (RTX) nanocapsule treatment elevates RTX levels in the CNS by nearly 10-fold compared to native RTX. We improved control of CNS metastases in a murine xenograft model of non-Hodgkin lymphoma; moreover, using a xenograft humanized BLT mouse model, lymphomas were eliminated with a single course of RTX nanocapsule treatment. This approach is useful for treatment of cancers with CNS metastases and is generalizable for delivery of any antibody to the CNS.
