Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a network access method, a proximity communications server, a relay terminal, and a terminal. The method includes: receiving a relay access verification request sent by a relay terminal, where the relay access verification request is sent by a relay terminal after a relay connection request sent by a terminal is received; verifying, according to the relay access verification request, whether the terminal is authorized to perform network access by using the relay terminal; and sending a relay authorization response message to the relay terminal, where the relay authorization response message carries indication information indicating whether the terminal is allowed to perform network access by using the relay terminal. Therefore, it is achieved that communications reliability is enhanced when a mobile communications network supports a trunking communications function and when some terminals are out of a mobile communication connection or outside network coverage.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, and provides a communication method. The method includes: receiving, by a control plane entity (CPE), a request message, where the request message includes identification information of user equipment (UE); determining, by the CPE, whether a suspend function of the UE corresponding to the identification information is allowed to be enabled; and if the CPE determines that the suspend function of the UE is allowed to be enabled, sending, by the CPE, a message to a radio access network node (RAN node) connected to the UE, where the message includes indication information indicating that the suspend function is allowed to be enabled.

A background traffic downloading policy is formulated for a user group, to resolve a problem of relatively high network overheads due to repeated responses of a policy and charging rules function unit. The background traffic downloading method includes: receiving, by a network awareness and schedule device, a background traffic downloading request sent by an application server; generating a background traffic downloading policy of a user group and an identifier of the background traffic downloading policy; sending the identifier to the application server; and receiving the identifier from a policy and charging rules function device, determining the background traffic downloading policy of the user group according to the identifier, and sending the background traffic downloading policy to the policy and charging rules function device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a service node selection and query method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: receiving a request message sent by UE; obtaining a usage type and selection assistance information of the UE based on the request message, where the selection assistance information includes at least one of a dedicated network type or service attribute information; and then determining, based on the usage type and the selection assistance information that are obtained, a service node that serves the UE. The service node selected in this manner is a service node that supports the dedicated network type of the UE and can meet a service requested by the UE this time, so that service success of the UE can be ensured.
