  • Patent number: 10187515
Abstract: A method of providing a telecommunications service using a network interface device (NID) is provided. The method includes connecting a provider line to one or more protector assemblies connected to a ground bar and configured to conduct current surges from the NID to ground. The one or more protector assemblies are electrically connected to an insulation displacement connector (IDC) module. An outgoing jack module wire is connected to the IDC module by inserting the outgoing jack module wire into a wire insertion hole of the IDC module to receive signals from the provider line. The outgoing jack module wire is electrically connected to a jack module outside the NID thereby providing a demarcation point. An incoming jack module wire is electrically connected to the jack module for carrying signals back to the NID.

  • Patent number: 10182324
Abstract: A client device transmits to a server a request associated with a contextual deep link, the contextual deep link associated with link data indicating a configuration of an application. The client device receives a response according to the contextual information of the client device. The client device initiates the application and transmits a request by the application for link data. The application on the client device generates a unique fingerprint of the client device based on a plurality of characteristics of the client device and transmits the unique fingerprint to the server. The client device receives the link data associated with the contextual deep link and configures the application according to the configuration indicated in the link data.

  • Publication number: 20180332453
Abstract: A contextual deep linking server receives a request associated with a valid contextual deep link from a client device, the contextual deep link associated with link data indicating a particular configuration of an application. The server also receives, after determining that the client device has stored a previously generated fingerprint, stored contextual information for the client device identified by a locally stored fingerprint that matches the previously generated fingerprint. The server then generates, after determining that the client device does not have the previously generated fingerprint, a unique fingerprint of the client device based on a plurality of characteristics of the client device and determining contextual information of the request based on a characteristic of the client device. The server also transmits a response to the client device that is selected based on the contextual information of the client device such that the response is operable on the client device.

  • Publication number: 20180032933
Abstract: Computerized methods and systems, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, may adaptively allocate resources within an enterprise. For example, a computing system may obtain data identifying an element of work. The computing system may assign the work element to a work category, establish a priority for resolving the work element within the assigned work category, and dynamically allocate the prioritized work element to an agent of the enterprise having availability to resolve the work element and having skill sets consistent with the work element. The computing system may also monitor the agent's performance while the agent applies or implements resolution processes via a corresponding agent system, and to provide, in real-time, data that characterizes the agent's performance in terms of key performance indicators to systems of the agent and other individuals across the enterprise.

  • Patent number: 9872263
Abstract: The invention is directed to methods and systems for generating reference signals from radio signals received from a large-coverage access component, such as a base station. The radio signals are received, analyzed, and selected based on the analysis. The selected signals are processed by an oscillator to filter out abnormalities. Consequently, a reference signal is generated that is encapsulated into packets and delivered to one or more small-coverage access components using the Precision Timing Protocol or some other protocol that is useable by the small-coverage access components. The small-coverage access components comprise one or more of a femtocell or a picocell.

  • Publication number: 20170362785
Abstract: Methods, system and apparatus are disclosed, including a tie fastener apparatus for attaching railroad ties to a superstructure. The apparatus comprises a threaded hook bolt, including a hook to engage the underside of a flange of a beam. The apparatus further comprises a cross strap configured to engage with a flange of the beam. The apparatus further comprises a metal member for engaging plural ties. The metal member includes a tie fastener hole at plural locations. A nut fastens a threaded end of the threaded hook bolt for installation when the threaded hook bolt is passed through the bolt hole. When the threaded hook bolt is installed, the hook engages the superstructure, and a neck of the threaded hook bolt engages the cross strap. The apparatus is installed from above the superstructure without drilling holes in ties or the superstructure, or requiring manned installation from below the superstructure.

  • Publication number: 20170276633
Abstract: Non-enzymatic approaches to measuring glucose are based on the direct oxidation of glucose using unmodified copper metal electrodes. A potential is applied to a copper measurement/working electrode, which potential is monitored by a separate reference electrode and the current within the system is balanced with a counter electrode. The presence of the ionized glucose in the sample can then be determined electrochemically. Disclosed herein are methods, devices, and test systems which utilise this novel approach.
