  • Publication number: 20200371040
Abstract: A full width measurement system includes a frame having a first and second rails. The first and second rails are positioned transverse to a moving sheet of material such that the first and second rails are positioned on opposite sides of the moving sheet. Sources may be positioned along the first rail in a predetermined arrangement across a width of the moving sheet. Each of the sources are configured to emit energy toward the moving sheet in a predetermined pattern. Detectors may be positioned along the second rail in a predetermined alignment with respect to the sources such that each of the detectors detect an energy level from multiple respective sources after the energy from the respective sources has passed through the moving sheet. Controller circuitry is configured to receive signals from the detectors and provide real time measured parameters spanning the width of the moving sheet of material.

  • Publication number: 20190258266
Abstract: A material handling vehicle guidance system comprises a first conductive member, a second conductive member, and an electrical current source. The second conductive member is electrically coupled to the first conductive member and extends parallel to the first conductive member to define a loop. The first conductive member and second conductive member are coupled to a shielded cable connector. The electrical current source supplies current to the first conductive member in a first direction and supplies current to the second conductive member in a second direction opposite the first direction to produce a narrowcast radio frequency signal detectable between the first conductive member and the second member.

  • Patent number: 10356991
Abstract: A system and method for moisture control includes a computer, a probe controller connected to the computer, a set of probes connected to the probe controller, a sprinkler controller connected to the computer, and a set of sprinklers connected to the sprinkler controller. The set of probes are driven into the ground according to a predetermined set of positions. A set of high voltage currents is injected into the ground through the set of probes and measurements are taken. A three-dimensional resistivity model is generated from the measurements and is compared to a set of moisture requirements. A set of sprinkler commands is generated based on the three-dimensional resistivity model and the set of moisture requirements. If the three-dimensional resistivity model meets the set of moisture requirements, the set of sprinklers are activated in each of a set of sprinkler zones according the three-dimensional resistivity model where watering is needed.
