  • Patent number: 10541180
Abstract: A system and method are provided for etching semiconductor wafers (integrated circuit substrates) with advanced packaging using a two-step wet etching process. The first etch step uses an etchant that is non-selective to at least the wafer material (silicon) and metals, such as copper and titanium, that are present in the wafer. The second etch step uses an etchant that is selective to the wafer material (silicon) and has low selectivity for the metals, thereby leaving them at least substantially intact.

  • Patent number: 10532792
Abstract: A gear shift lever assembly includes a gear shift lever arm which includes a distal foot-peg end and a bifurcated proximal end and first passageway for facilitating securement of the gear shift lever arm to a gear selector spindle shaft of a motorcycle. The assembly also includes a spindle shaft mount insert sized to fit within the bifurcated ends of the gear shift lever arm. The insert has a splined aperture that matches the splines of the splines of the gear selector spindle shaft, and a second passageway having a longitudinal axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the splined aperture. The gear shift lever assembly is mountable to the gear selector spindle shaft of the motorcycle with the spindle shaft mount insert interposed between the bifurcated proximal end of the gear shift lever arm with a mounting bolt passed through the aligned first and second passageways.

  • Publication number: 20190354696
Abstract: A system or method for encryption of data includes a light source, a random optical element and a light detection element. The light source is arranged to transmit an input data signal to the random optical element. The light source is incident on the random optical element such that the input data signal is randomly scattered by the random optical element to generate an image at on the detector disposed at an output of the random optical element. The image received by the detector is applied to a compressive sensing algorithm to generate a transfer function. The transfer function defines a relationship between the input data signal and the image to enable estimation and reconstruction of the input data signal.

  • Patent number: 10479845
Abstract: This invention relates to a method of preparing a brominated elastomer having a stabilized Mooney viscosity. The method includes polymerizing isomonoolefins and at least one polymerizable unit to obtain an elastomer/polymer; brominating the elastomer/polymer to form a brominated elastomer effluent; neutralizing the brominated elastomer effluent to form a neutralized effluent; volatizing off the hydrocarbon solvent; and recovering a brominated elastomer. In at least one point of the process, preferably prior to any significant temperature change in the brominated polymer, a Mooney stabilizer is added into the system. Portions of the Mooney stabilizer may be added at multiple points into the process.

  • Patent number: 10403154
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for reducing the amount of messaging between aerial vehicles and between controllers of aerial vehicles and simplifying aerial vehicle traffic management. In one implementation, a large service area, such as the United States, may be separated into a series of hierarchal regions. Rather than sending notifications to all agents (e.g., aerial vehicles, controllers) in the service area, each agent may subscribe to one or more regions of the hierarchal regions and only receive messages intended for the subscribed regions. In one example, as discussed below, messages for a particular region are only sent to agents subscribed to that region. Other agents within the larger service area do not receive the messages as they may not be relevant to those agents.
