  • Patent number: 10187362
Abstract: A method and system are provided that create a limited use secure environment (LSE) image such as a limited use operating system installation that can be booted from a removable medium (e.g. CD or flash drive). The limited use secure environment is a limited purpose OS, web browser, etc. that prevents undesired activities. When the limited use secure environment boots, it initiates a pairing operation in which a pairing code and user credentials are conveyed to an authorization server. Once the pairing code and credentials are confirmed, a provisioning service provides configuration credentials to the limited use secure environment to enable the limited use secure environment to establish a secure connection through a gateway to resources of interest.

  • Publication number: 20180294196
Abstract: A system and method for performing a wet etching process is disclosed. The system includes multiple processing stations accessible by a transfer device, including a measuring station to optically measure the thickness of a wafer before and after each etching steps in the process. The system also includes a controller to analyze the thickness measurements in view of a target wafer profile and generate an etch recipe, dynamically and in real time, for each etching step. In addition, the process controller can cause a single wafer wet etching station to etch the wafer according to the generated etching recipes. In addition, the system can, based on the pre and post-etch thickness measurements and target etch profile, generate and/or refine the etch recipes.

  • Patent number: 10089885
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for storing path data for all vehicles of a service area in a path data store and representing each path with a unique hash value, generated based on the path data. Rather than controllers and/or aerial vehicles exchanging the full path data for each path, a common hash function may be used to generate unique hash values for each path and the unique hash values may be exchanged and used to lookup the full path data.

  • Publication number: 20180254221
Abstract: A system and method are provided for etching semiconductor wafers (integrated circuit substrates) with advanced packaging using a two-step wet etching process. The first etch step uses an etchant that is non-selective to at least the wafer material (silicon) and metals, such as copper and titanium, that are present in the wafer. The second etch step uses an etchant that is selective to the wafer material (silicon) and has low selectivity for the metals, thereby leaving them at least substantially intact.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to utilizing an application workflow framework to manage workflow on an application executing on a computing device. An illustrative workflow routine can include multiple tasks than need to be completed in order to complete the workflow routine. Accordingly, a workflow framework has a workflow definition that that matches the specific workflow routine. Each of the specific tasks defined in the workflow routine can be represented by a number of interface elements within the application. At least some of the interface elements can have a number of states of execution defined by the workflow definition and having different content and display attributes. In one embodiment, the states of execution can include a pre-active state, an active state, and a post-active state.

  • Patent number: 9880897
Abstract: When a software component is starting, such as but not limited to a task or a subtask, the component pushes its identification (ID) onto a stack. The component executes its other instructions. If the component completes its instructions so that it can terminate normally, it pops the stack, which removes its ID from the stack. If the component fails, such as by not being able to complete its instructions, it will not be able to pop the stack so its ID will remain in the stack. Another software process can read the IDs in the stack to identify which components have failed and can automatically take a specified action, such as by sending an email message to, sending a text message to, or calling by telephone, a person or persons responsible for that software component.

  • Patent number: 9790708
Abstract: A magnetic self-latching device for a gate has a main body with handles on either side for operation or has an arrangement to be remotely actuated. A latching body has a high strength magnet usually provided at the bottom of a cavity which defines a latching shoulder. The latching body is adapted to be fixed to a gate post. The main body, with its housing, can be mounted on the gate frame and incorporates a latch pin which, in the door-closed position, is displaced by magnetic attraction to an extended latching position and against the biasing of a return spring. The gate cannot be opened until actuation of the mechanism occurs, for example by rotating a handle to retract the pin against the magnetic force; the gate can then be swung open. When the handle is released, the biasing spring retains the latch pin in a retracted position.

  • Patent number: 9771740
Abstract: A latch has a displaceable latching element in a housing for engagement with a separate striker arm to be latched behind an engagement shoulder of the latching element. The housing mounts a cylinder lock to receive a key from the front. A rotor is mounted on the rear of cylinder lock and rotation of the key rotation the rotor to drive a locking element to engage and lock the latching element. The rotor may also be axial displaceable against spring biasing responsive to a rear unit pushing element whereby unlocking from a rear cylinder lock may rotate the rotor to unlock and pushing causes the latching element to be displaced against its biasing to release the striker arm. Embodiments include a gravity biased and manually opened latch and a spring biased self-locking embodiment.
