  • Patent number: 10614173
Abstract: The disclosed subject matter provides a system, computer readable storage medium, and a method providing an audio and textual transcript of a communication. A conferencing services may receive audio or audio visual signals from a plurality of different devices that receive voice communications from participants in a communication, such as a chat or teleconference. The audio signals representing voice (speech) communications input into respective different devices by the participants. A translation services server may receive over a separate communication channel the audio signals for translation into a second language. As managed by the translation services server, the audio signals may be converted into textual data. The textual data may be translated into text of different languages based the language preferences of the end user devices in the teleconference. The translated text may be further translated into audio signals.

  • Publication number: 20200064986
Abstract: A method includes receiving a plurality of data items pertaining to a user. A mood of the user is automatically assessed using the plurality of data items, whereafter it is determined that the assessed mood of the user corresponds to a determinable state. Responsive to the determination, a graphical user interface presents a user-selectable indicium to a member of a social network of the user, the user-selectable indicium being selectable by the member of the social network to initiate a request to modify the mood of the user. Responsive to user selection of the user-selectable indicium, the request to modify the mood of the user is received at a communications server, which automatically initiates a mood improvement response.

  • Publication number: 20190296166
Abstract: Provided herein are ultra-thin flexible photovoltaic modules. The flexible modules meet UL and IEC safety requirements without needing one or more encapsulant layers. The no-encapsulant design reduces material usage and associated cost and eliminates thermal and mechanical stress imparted by the encapsulant. In some embodiments, a flexible module includes photovoltaic cells enclosed between sealing sheets, wires partially embedded in wire carriers and disposed such that the wires interconnect the photovoltaic cells. The wire carriers include multiple polymeric layers. Adhesive from module components such as sealing sheets and wire carriers bonds the components together.
