  • Patent number: 11159381
Abstract: A method may include receiving a network schema including switches, links connecting the switches, and a topology that maps the switches to the links. The switches may include ports. The method may further include receiving a software defined networking (SDN) policy including a function that modifies a state of a packet entering a switch, converting the topology to a graph including nodes corresponding to the switches, while searching the graph, determining, according to the function, whether a port of a switch corresponding to a node is reachable by the packet entering the switch, and in response to searching the graph, verifying a property of the SDN policy.

  • Publication number: 20210247269
Abstract: A vibration monitoring system described herein is used to detect and analyze mechanical characteristics such as vibrations emanating from a rotating system (including the shaft and bearing system). The analysis of the mechanical characteristics yields decision data as to whether and which component connected with the rotating system is faulty so that it may be replaced. An example of a rotating system would be any of the rotating accessories present in an automotive vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11085181
Abstract: A structural module (1) has a structural frame having structural members forming floor plates (2), wall plates (3), vertical columns (4), braces (7) extending at angles from the columns to the floor plates, and wall studs. The columns and the braces are configured to transfer vertical loads without assistance from the studs. There may be a module-to-module tie (200) affixed to at least one column, and each tie may be affixed to a top surface of a column, to link columns of adjoining modules together in a horizontal plane, and to accommodate misalignment of the modules in the horizontal plane.

  • Publication number: 20210123229
Abstract: A vertical tie is for a load-bearing column of a building off-site structural module with a box-section structural member. The tie has a top tie assembly for engagement by a torqueing tool from above the column. There is a bottom tie assembly, which fastens to the module below. Torque which is applied to the top tie assembly is transferred to the bottom tie assembly by an interconnect tube. The top and bottom tie assemblies are configured so that the bottom tie assembly is adapted to engage with a top tie assembly of an underneath module, in one case by a nut engaging a spindle protruding up from the lower module. This allows modules to be tied together in the vertical direction in a simple, convenient, and safe manner by an operator on-site working on top of the upper module. Access to torque the tie does not require any side opening in the column and so its load-bearing properties are not affected.

  • Patent number: 10796368
Abstract: An electronic data insurance management system may prompt a user, for a selected insurance product, to identify an indemnity level for insuring against loss to one or more electronic data sets, receive input identifying the indemnity level, and link an identifier for one of the one or more electronic data sets with a data insurance policy or policy certificate defined by the identified indemnity level. The system may also create a data storage account for the one of the one or more electronic data sets on a data management system using the identifier such that an association is formed between the data storage account and the data insurance policy or policy certificate.
