  • Patent number: 9937280
Abstract: Luminal prostheses comprise scaffolds having coatings adhered to at least a portion of their outer surfaces. The surfaces are modified to enhance binding of the coatings. For example, the surfaces may be microblasted, laser treated, chemically etched, exposed to plasma, or exposed to a corona discharge, allowing a polymeric coating to adhere to the scaffold more tightly than in the absence of the surface modification. The coatings can be used to deliver therapeutic or other agents dispersed therein.

  • Patent number: 9798743
Abstract: The disclosure is related to a décor harmony service (DHS) that facilitates mapping of colors from a color palette to decor accessories in a setting, e.g., a room, such that the décor accessories, when arranged together, appear harmonious to a user. For example, using harmony-distribution rules, the DHS maps a set of décor accessories occupying “60%” of the area of a room to a main color of a color palette, a second set of décor accessories occupying “30%” to a feature color and a third set of décor accessories occupying “10%” to an accent color. The DHS generates a representation of the room, e.g., an image of the room, with the décor accessories having the assigned colors. The DHS facilitates a user to use the generated image for finding and purchasing décor products that match with a décor accessory in the generated image.

  • Patent number: 9793603
Abstract: A first module and a second module are formed on a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) chip substrate. The first module is to serialize and de-serialize a data signal. The second module is to up-convert and down-convert the data signal to and from the first module. An antenna is coupled to the second module and integrated onto the CMOS chip substrate. The antenna is coupleable to a hollow metal waveguide (HMWG). The first and second modules are arranged for proximity to the antenna to avoid substantially degrading the data signal at millimeter wave frequencies in migrating the data signal between the first module and the antenna.
