  • Publication number: 20220026394
Abstract: A defect inspection system includes a storage. The defect inspection system also includes a corrosion enhancing defect manager that obtains a circuit card including a trace that is to be encapsulated by a protective layer adapted to reduce corrosion of the trace; applies a voltage potential to the trace while the circuit card is disposed in a visual indicator bath; obtains an image of the trace while the voltage potential is applied; makes a determination, based on the image, that a visual indicator generated by the visual indicator bath is included in the image; and based on the determination: identifies a portion of the trace corresponding to the visual indicator; and applies encapsulant to the portion of the trace.

  • Publication number: 20220026870
Abstract: A computing device of an information handling system includes an environmental control component and an environmental manager. The environmental control components identifies an aggregate amount of corrosion of a component of the information handling system; obtains a rate of corrosion associated with the component; makes a determination that the rate of corrosion indicates that the component will suffer a premature failure; in response to the determination: identifies an environmental control modification that will remediate the premature failure of the component; and updates an operation of the environmental control component based on the environmental control modification.

  • Publication number: 20220026880
Abstract: A computing device of an information handling system includes a computing component associated with a risk of corrosion and a corrosion management component. The corrosion management components releases humidity into an environment associated with the computing component while the risk of corrosion due to the environment is a low risk of corrosion, and absorbs humidity from the environment associated with the computing component while the risk of corrosion due to the environment is a high risk of corrosion.

  • Publication number: 20220026968
Abstract: A method for environmentally managing a computing device of an information handling system includes monitoring an environmental corrosion risk associated with a component of the computing device, a corrosion management component that reduces a rate of corrosion of the component due to an ambient environment in which the component resides by removing condensation from the component is associated with the component; making a determination that the component is associated with the corrosion management component; in response to the determination: estimating a corrosion risk of the component based on: the environmental corrosion risk, and a risk reduction factor associated with the corrosion management component; making a second determination that the corrosion risk of the component indicates a premature failure of the component; and remediating, in response to the second determination, the corrosion risk of the component.

  • Publication number: 20220030743
Abstract: A method for environmentally managing a computing device of an information handling system includes extracting, using a corrosive material filter, corrosive materials from an airflow that thermally manages a computing component of the computing device. The method further includes, while extracting the corrosive materials, monitoring a corrosion state of the corrosive material filter; making a determination that the corrosive material filter should be replaced based on the corrosion state; and scheduling replacement of the corrosive material filter based on the determination.

  • Patent number: 11219431
Abstract: A single-insertion biopsy device includes a cannula having an extraction position at a distal end and a recovery opening at a proximal end. A first elongate element has a first distal end and a second elongate element has a second distal end. The first elongate element and the second elongate element are configured to move between the extraction position and the recovery opening, and to move with respect to each other to define an open configuration and a closed configuration. In the closed configuration, the first and second distal ends are mutually radially opposite such that the first elongate element and the second elongate element surround a volume. A drive unit is configured to move the first elongate element and the second elongate element between the open and closed configurations, and to move the first and second distal ends in unison from the extraction position to the recovery opening.

  • Patent number: 11093748
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and method for visual search and augmented reality, in which an onscreen body of visual markers overlayed on the interface signals the current state of an image recognition process. Specifically, the body of visual markers may take on a plurality of behaviors, in which a particular behavior is indicative of a particular state. Thus, the user can tell what the current state of the scanning process is by the behavior of the body of visual markers. The behavior of the body of visual markers may also indicate to the user recommended actions that can be taken to improve the scanning condition or otherwise facilitate the process. In various embodiments, as the scanning process goes from one state to another state, the onscreen body of visual markers may move or seamlessly transition from one behavior to another behavior, accordingly.

  • Patent number: 10924676
Abstract: Visual effects for element of interest can be displayed within a live camera view in real time or substantially using a processing pipeline that does not immediately display an acquired image until it has been updated with the effects. In various embodiments, software-based approaches, such as fast convolution algorithms, and/or hardware-based approaches, such as using a graphics processing unit (GPU), can be used reduce the time between acquiring an image and displaying the image with various visual effects. These visual effects can include automatically highlighting elements, augmenting the color, style, and/or size of elements, casting a shadow on elements, erasing elements, substituting elements, or shaking and jumbling elements, among other effects.

  • Publication number: 20200311126
Abstract: Techniques for providing recommended keywords in response to an image-based query are disclosed herein. In particular, various embodiments utilize an image matching service to identify recommended search keywords associated with image data received from a user. The search keywords can be used to perform a keyword search to identify content associated with an image input that may be relevant. For example, an image search query can be received from a user. The image search query may result in multiple different types of content that are associated with the image. The system may present keywords associated with matching images to allow a user to further refine their search and/or find other related products that may not match with the particular image. This enables users to quickly refine a search using keywords that may be difficult to identify otherwise and to find the most relevant content for the user.

  • Patent number: 10755485
Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying 3D containers in a computer generated environment are described. A computing device may provide a user with a catalog of objects which may be purchased. In order to view what an object may look like prior to purchasing the object, a computing device may show a 3D container that has the same dimensions as the object. As discussed herein, the 3D container may be located and oriented based on a two-dimensional marker. Moreover, some 3D containers may contain a representation of an object, which may be a 2D image of the object.
