    Abstract: The embodiments described herein provide systems and methods that can improve performance in scanning laser devices. Specifically, the systems and methods emit emission control pulse sets that are used to detect when objects (e.g., persons) are within a relatively close safety range. Then, higher energy long-range pulse sets are conditionally emitted only when objects were not detected within the safety range with the emission control pulse sets. These emission control pulse sets are emitted variable timing and/or variable energy that is determined at least in part on whether previous emission control pulse sets detected an object with the safety range. The use of emission control pulse sets with variable timing and/or variable energy can provide for improved reliability of object detection in a safety range, while still meeting the energy limits needed for eye safety.

Method also includes sending attempted network flow metadata related to the blocked attempted network flows to a collector on client; transmitting the attempted network flow metadata from the collector to a VPN server pool via a VPN tunnel; and producing an anomaly report from the transmitted attempted network flow metadata. The anomaly report includes at least one of anomalies, cohorts, trends, location boundaries, detected network security issues, detected compromised clients and/or optimized network usage.

A first flag received from a data path identifies a start of a cache operation on the data and a second flag from the data path identifies an end of the cache operation. A controller for peak power management can be implemented to control the power budget based on determination of usage of current associated with the cache from the first and second flags. In various embodiments, the controller can be operable to feedback a signal to a memory controller external to the memory die to adjust an operating speed of an interface from the memory controller to the memory die. In response to updating the plaintext portion of the L2P map, the updated portion can be obfuscated to create an obfuscated version of the updated portion of the L2P map. Both the updated portion and the obfuscated version of the updated portion can be saved in storage of the memory device. When a request from a host for the updated portion of the L2P map is received, the memory device can provide the obfuscated version of the portion from the storage.

As the rotating tube is rotated, the hub is driven along the length of the rotating tube thereby opening and closing the umbrella frame.
