  • Publication number: 20190289932
Abstract: An adjustable hospital gown is designed to cover the bodies of users of varying shape and size. The gown has a torso-covering garment, a pair of backflaps, and an adjustable fastener. The torso-covering garment is used to cover the front side of the user's body. The pair of backflaps are connected along backflap seams that are positioned on opposite sides of the torso-covering garment. As a result, the pair of backflaps can be transitioned between an opened and a closed configuration. The adjustable fastener is connected in between one of the backflaps and the torso-covering garment such that the backflap can be repositioned to cinch the gown around the body of the user. By connecting the adjustable fastener to various anchor points, the size of the gown can be modified to accommodate user's of varying shape.

  • Patent number: 10342846
Abstract: The invention provides pharmaceutical compositions and method of using the compositions, wherein the compositions comprise liposomes or micelles that contain one or more targeting peptides and/or anticancer drugs. In various embodiments, the components of the liposomes can include a) a phospholipid and optionally a lipid that is not a phospholipid; b) a pegylated lipid; c) a peptide-ethylene glycol (EG)-lipid conjugate wherein the peptide is a targeting ligand, and d) one or more drug-conjugated lipid, encapsulated drugs, or a combination thereof. The peptide-EG-lipid conjugate can be, for example, a compound of Formula (I) or Formula (II). The ethylene glycol (EG) segments of the peptide-EG-lipid conjugate can be, for example, EG6 to about EG36; and the EG segment can be conjugated to one or more lysine moieties.

  • Publication number: 20160224214
Abstract: An imaging apparatus including a user interface generating displays for optimizing a user's experience when indicating preferred options prior to performing a function. Displays for relatively large user interfaces are bifurcated into a settings pane including a plurality of settings associated with the selected function and a preset pane including a preconfigured set of settings and options for the same function. A transparent drawer—including specific settings and/or options corresponding to a setting from the settings pane—is operative to be launched and closed when the said setting has been selected and deselected, respectively. Selected options are implicitly stored and automatically summarized on the settings pane. Displays for relatively small user interfaces also feature a bifurcated display manifested by a resizable settings pane operative to expand and reduce in response to user input, the resizable settings pane featuring a summary of selected options.
