  • Publication number: 20220076270
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for detecting a suspicious and/or a non-suspicious activity during an electronic transaction performed by a user device. One method comprises identifying, by a monitoring and detection component, a starting check point in the electronic transaction. The monitoring and detection component may then receive contextual data from one or more sensors of the user device. Based on the contextual data and a machine learning model, the monitoring and detection component may determine whether an expected behavior occurred. Entry of user credentials may be enabled in response to determining that the expected behavior occurred, whereas the electronic transaction may be terminated in response to determining that the expected behavior did not occur.

  • Publication number: 20220005019
Abstract: The invention relates generally to the processing of electronic payments that involve an payment instrument. A payment instrument reading device is paired with a payment initiating device to allow transaction information generated by the payment initiating device to be automatically transmitted to its associated payment instrument reading device. This means that rekeying of transaction information is not required. In some embodiments one or more beacons are provided in a premises, to allow the location of a mobile payment initiating device to be determined. This location is used to either direct the payment initiating device to a payment instrument reading device, or vice versa. Transaction data generated by the payment initiating device is automatically transmitted to the payment instrument reading device. A pairing module is also provided, which is configured to pair a payment instrument reading device with a payment initiating device.

  • Publication number: 20210021465
Abstract: Example implementations relate to managing configuration requests in computer networks which include a set of configurable external entities. In an example, a received configuration request can be decomposed into a set of provisioning items and the set of provisioning items can be stored in a data structure. Using provisioning items from the data structure, a set of provisioning operations can be constructed, and the set of provisioning operations can be dispatched to at least one of the configurable external entities of the set of configurable external entities to provision the at least one configurable external entity in accordance with the received configuration request.

  • Patent number: 10873504
Abstract: Example implementations relate to managing concurrently received configuration requests in a computing network that includes a set of configurable network entities. IN an example, a plurality of configuration requests are received concurrently and a separate database transaction is opened in a configuration database for each received configuration request. A plurality of configuration deltas are identified, each of the plurality of configuration deltas representing a change in a configuration of a network entity of the computing network requested by one of the plurality of received configuration requests. An existing configuration of the network entity is obtained from the configuration database and the existing configuration of the network entity is modified using the identified configuration deltas to generate a provisioning request for the network entity.
