  • Patent number: 11422065
Abstract: A bumper for a mobile platform of a guided test platform includes a first end, a second end residing opposite the first end, a first surface extending between the first and second ends, and a second surface extending between the first and second ends and residing opposite the first surface. The bumper defines a ramp structure extending between the bumper first end and the bumper second end. The ramp structure is structured to guide a wheel of a vehicle in a direction away from the first surface as the wheel moves along the second surface in a direction from the bumper first end toward the bumper second end.

  • Publication number: 20220097148
Abstract: Machine chuck jaws, and a related method of manufacture, are provided. The machine chuck jaws are formed from an additive manufacturing process and include one or more gripping pads per chuck jaw. An axial stop is also formed from an additive manufacturing process and provides a flat surface for workpiece placement. The gripping pads equally distribute the clamping pressure, and the additive manufacturing process provides unique shaping capabilities and a honeycomb internal cross-section, thereby achieving a lightweight design. The reduction in weight allows for a decrease in pneumatic pressure used to actuate the jaws, resulting in a corresponding reduction in the clamping pressure which helps improve the form of the workpiece being machined.

  • Publication number: 20220036352
Abstract: Systems and methods configured for receiving a first signal from a user device associated with a user account; modifying a data record linked to the user account to unsuspend a protection program for the user account in response to the first signal; receiving a first request from a transaction processing system charging a first amount against the user account, the first amount being greater than a current balance of the user account; and processing the first request by: generating an authorization signal for the transaction processing system approving the first amount; modifying the data record to reflect a first balance corresponding to a difference between the current balance and the first amount; and generating a first notification signal for the user device based on the first request.

  • Patent number: 11197965
Abstract: The system allows optimizing the dispensing of aerosol medicaments. In particular the system allows the administration of an exogenous pulmonary surfactant to very young patients (e.g. preterm neonates). A catheter (101) conveys atomized surfactant directly to the retropharyngeal region in order to increase efficiency of the medicament administration without being invasive: this is particularly important for very young patients, such as pre-term born neonates suffering from neonatal Respiratory Distress Syndrome (nRDS). The catheter is made of biocompatible flexible material (e.g. plastic material). It is possible to couple the catheter with a rigid scaffolding (e.g. metallic) to increase stiffness of the device and to improve easiness of positioning operations. The delivery of the atomized medicament is done by means of an air blasting technique.

  • Patent number: 11043611
Abstract: Organically capped quantum dots are made by functionalizing the surfaces of QDs of various architectures with a combination of 6-mercaptohexanol (MCH) and 2-[2-(2-methoxyethoxy)-ethoxy]-acetic acid (MEEAA). • Patent number: 10914416
Abstract: A Cured In Place Pipe System includes a tubular substrate constructed of needle-punched fibers of carbon, aramid and thermoplastic. The tubular structure defines a longitudinal channel running along the length. Within the channel is an air bladder, preferably including an air duct. The tubular substrate is enclosed within a loose-fitting protective film. The tube is preferably constructed with multiple overlapping layers that aren't permanently bound, thereby allowing for circumferential expansion to accommodate various host pipe sizes, shapes, and configurations. The integrated thermoplastic has a melt/flow point of approximately 300-342° F., a cure point of approximately 330-370° F., and bonding point of approximately 372-412° F. at approximately 5-20 psi.

  • Patent number: 10855888
Abstract: A computer system for providing on-demand sign-language translation services receives a first audio recording of ambient noise. The computer system then accesses a database of audio fingerprints. Using the audio fingerprints, the computer system identifies within the first audio recording a particular audio fingerprint from the database of audio fingerprints. The computer system then identifies within the particular audio fingerprint a particular timestamp associated with the first audio recording. The computer system accesses a database of translated audio. The computer system accesses a portion of the translated audio that corresponds with the particular time stamp. The computer system then displays on a user interface the portion of the translated audio.
