  • Publication number: 20130297139
Abstract: A method for operating an autonomous moving cleaning apparatus includes the steps of: a microcontroller unit (MCU) provides a digital signal which is processed through an encoding technique to form an encrypted encoding data set; the MCU continuously sends out the encrypted encoding data set; data values in the encrypted encoding data set are converted to high or low voltages to activate a light emission member to generate flicker light; a light receiving member continuously receives a string of reflective light corresponding to the flicker light to form a corresponding high or low voltage which is converted to a corresponding digital signal sent to the MCU to be compared with the encrypted coding data set for decoding; and the MCU controls operations of a servomotor based on decoding correctness and the detected corresponding digital signal. Thus the autonomous moving cleaning apparatus can function steadily without being interfered by external lights.

  • Patent number: 8532821
Abstract: An automatic veering structure for a floor cleaning apparatus comprises a driving wheel set to control moving direction of the floor cleaning apparatus, an auxiliary wheel set and a buffer module. It also has a detection module to detect whether the auxiliary wheel set is suspended in the air and whether the buffer module bumps into an obstacle, then output a first detection signal and a second detection signal to a control module to determine whether to trigger the driving wheel set to drive the floor cleaning apparatus to veer to prevent the floor cleaning apparatus from suspending and falling, or stopping moving when encounters the obstacle. Thus the lifespan of the floor cleaning apparatus is lengthened and cleaning efficiency improves.

  • Patent number: 7513448
Abstract: A paper and optical disk shredder with a shredding optical disk bucket switching apparatus has a head capable of shredding paper and optical disks. The head has a sensor to detect insertion of an object. The head is mounted onto a casing which holds a shredding paper bucket. The shredding paper bucket holds a shredding disk bucket. The shredding disk bucket has a plurality of sliding members and is coupled with a transmission means. The transmission means is located on the casing and can switch the shredding disk bucket. The head further has a safety micro-switch to detect proper positioning of the shredding paper bucket and an optical control means to detect overflow condition of the shredding paper or optical disks. Therefore users and the machine can be protected, and an alert is generated to inform the users to clear the shredded disks and paper.

  • Publication number: 20080053569
Abstract: The present invention discloses an automatic pencil sharpener that includes a box, a rack at the rear in the box, a driving source at the front of the rack, and a retarded gear set for driving a rolling blade to rotate, and the rolling blade is installed in a chamber, and the front of the box has pencil insert holes of different diameters. The rear at the middle of the insert hole has a trigger, such that if a pencil is inserted, the trigger sends a signal to the driving source to start sharpening the pencil. After the pencil is sharpened, a detecting apparatus in the insert hole sends a signal to the driving source to stop sharpening the pencil and indicate that the pencil is sharpened, so as to provide the function of sharpening a pencil automatically.

  • Publication number: 20080041986
Abstract: An ejecting mechanism for a container of a shredding device includes a driving element having a pivot and a suffering end for suffering a force, wherein when the suffering end is forced, the container disposed on the driving element will be driven to have a rotation around the pivot so that the container is also driven to be ejected out and be in a tilt state. Therefore, when it needs to clean the shreds in the container, the suffer end of the driving element can be forced by, for example, stepping thereon, for driving the container to be ejected out of the shredding device so as to facilitate a cleaning and also simplify the performing steps for cleaning the container.
