  • Publication number: 20030198139
Abstract: An electronic timepiece with date display function reduces power consumption in conjunction with the user adjusting the date, and makes it easier for the user to set the date. A displayed date detection unit H has a day detector H1 for detecting the displayed day, a month detector H2 for detecting the displayed month, and a year detector H3 for detecting the displayed year. A control unit A controls a calendar mechanism drive unit F according to the date detected by detectors H1 to H3.

  • Patent number: 6607018
Abstract: A pneumatic tire. A central circumferential main groove is disposed to extend along a tire circumferential direction, along a ground contact center line of tread of the pneumatic tire. Inboard side circumferential main grooves and inboard side lateral main grooves, which are continuous with the central circumferential main groove, are provided at an inboard side of the ground contact center line. Outboard side lateral main grooves, which are continuous with the central circumferential main groove, and outboard side slanted longitudinal main grooves, which are continuous with the outboard side lateral main grooves, are disposed at an outboard side of the ground contact center line. Thus, irregular wear of land portions is continuously suppressed and controlling stability is improved. Moreover, water at the ground contact center line, which water is difficult to drain, can be efficiently drained from the ground contact area due to less water resistance.

  • Patent number: 6595255
Abstract: In a pneumatic tire of the present invention, a pair of circumferential main grooves with a tire equatorial plane interposed therebetween, and another pair of circumferential main grooves at a tire axial direction outer side and inner side of the former pair of circumferential main grooves, are provided in a central area of a tread. A groove width center line of the circumferential main grooves at the tire axial direction outermost side and innermost side is disposed at a position 30% to 40% of a ground contact half width distanced from the tire equatorial plane. Further, outboard side slanted longitudinal main grooves, and slanted lateral main grooves having ends which open into at least one of the circumferential main grooves and other ends which open into contact ground end in the vehicle width direction, are disposed on the tread.

  • Publication number: 20020011292
Abstract: A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion arranging a plurality of blocks each provided with at least one sub-groove having a special groove shape and can improve the wear resistance in correspondence to the difference of input directions of external forces generated by the difference of the tire mounting position.

  • Patent number: 6097246
Abstract: The present invention includes a first switch 4a, a second switch 4b and a capacitor 4d. The first switch 4a normally in a closed state is connected in series between a power source 1 and load, and opens when an accident builds up. The second switch 4b normally in an open state closes almost simultaneously with the opening of the first switch 4a. The capacity 4d normally charged by an arbitrary voltage has predetermined electrically capacity. The serial connected circuit consists of the second switch 4b and capacitor 4d, it is connected in parallel to the first switch 4a.
