Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to a tubular knit sleeve for a below-the-knee amputee where the tubular knit sleeve includes zoned grip features, zoned cushioning features, zoned traction features, and zoned breathability/permeability features that facilitate the wearer participating in athletic activities, such as wrestling, without a prosthetic leg.

Abstract: A bundle of public counters and a corresponding bundle of private counters are created and transmitted to a user device. The user device receives a request and processes the request without accessing a secure element processor on the user device. The user device calculates a security code using the private counter and a number. The user device transmits the calculated security code and one of the bundle of public counters in response to the request. A receiver of the response to the request determines the validity of the public counter and looks up the corresponding private counter using the public counter. The receiver determines the validity of the security code by recomputing it using the private counter and the number.

Abstract: An example method includes, responsive to receiving user input to activate an airplane mode of a mobile computing device: disabling a first wireless protocol; determining, based on activity of a media session, whether to maintain an enabled state of a second wireless protocol of the mobile computing device, wherein the mobile computing device is configured to stream audio data associated with the media session to an audio sink device via a second wireless protocol; and selectively maintaining the enabled state of the second wireless protocol based on the determination.

Abstract: A Railroad Tie Management System is disclosed that can provide an efficient and organized method of inspecting and auditing ties in a rail system. Tie mark files can be retrieved by a client from a server or database in operable communication with the client, and upon instantiation of an inspection process governed by the system, an inspection information table and tie grid can be generated. The tie grid can operable to receive commands from a user, and the inspection information table is operable to automatically increment and decrement fields contained within in response to changes within the tie grid. The tie grid can also be configured to incorporate data from tie scans and serve the data to the client in a useful and user-friendly manner.

Abstract: Embodiments of an iron-based coating configured to be thermally sprayed are disclosed. The iron-based coatings can be fully readable, thus allowing for thickness measurements to be performed on the coating with standard magnetic measuring equipment. Further, the iron-based coating can have advantageous properties, such as high hardness, high wear resistance, and high adhesion strength.

Abstract: A hose for a reciprocating pump, the hose comprising: a first end and a second end separated by a length (L) along a centerline of the hose, wherein the first end reciprocates with a reciprocating element of the reciprocating pump during operation of the reciprocating pump; an inner surface and an outer surface separated by a thickness; and a variable bend radius wherein a bend radius of a first section of the hose is different from a bend radius of at least one second section of the hose, such that, during operation of the reciprocating pump, a stress on the first end of the hose, the second end of the hose, or both the first end of the hose and the second end of the hose is reduced relative to that of a hose that does not contain the variable bend radius.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall comprises one or more climbing panels supported by a frame and a system for adjusting the incline of the frame to provide a climbing wall of a desired incline. The incline of the climbing wall may be adjusted by activating an actuator, which extends the upper portion of the frame a distance from a support wall, tilting the climbing wall to a desired incline. When the climbing wall is substantially vertically oriented, the system for adjusting the incline of the climbing wall may extend only a small distance from the support wall so that the adjustable-incline climbing wall has a relatively small footprint. In some embodiments, the climbing wall may also comprise one or more fitness accessories that can brought to an optimal height for a particular user through adjustment of the climbing wall incline.

Various cell types are utilized to produce the food products and can include muscle, fat, and/or liver cells. The cultured food products are grown in pathogen-free culture conditions without exposure to toxins and other undesirable chemicals. The food products can be processed to provide a desired shape, texture and consistency.

Abstract: A system and method for recursive propagating application access control relate to managing third-party application access to content files and folders on a cloud storage system. The access control system may receive an access authorization indication to grant a third-party entity access to a parent folder containing a first file, and then modify an access control rule associated with the parent folder based on the access authorization indication. The modified access control rule is propagated to a child folder of the parent folder, and thus the third-party entity is granted access to a second file in the child folder based on the modified access control rule. The second file shares a common attribute with the first file, 1 and the modified access control rule specifies the common attribute.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of nickel-based alloys. The nickel-based alloys can be used as feedstock for PTA and laser cladding hardfacing processes, and can be manufactured into cored wires used to form hardfacing layers. The nickel-based alloys can have high corrosion resistance and large numbers of hard phases such as isolated hypereutectic hard phases.

Abstract: The present invention provides compositions comprising Methylobacterium and depleted of substances that promote growth of resident microorganisms on a plant or seed, methods for improving fruit production, methods of making the compositions, and methods of treating a plant or seed with a composition comprising Methylobacterium. Also provided are methods and compositions comprising Methylobacterium that provide for improved fruit production.
