  • Patent number: 9566961
Abstract: A method for operating a braking apparatus with a service and parking brake function, which braking apparatus can be applied both in a hydraulic manner by means of a hydraulic pressure generator and by means of an electromechanical force generator. A transfer takes place from the pressure generator, which exerts the hydraulic brake application, to the force generator, which exerts the electromechanical brake application, as soon as the braking torque is active at the braking apparatus. During the transfer, the braking torque, which is applied by the hydraulic pressure generator and the braking torque which is applied by the electromechanical force generator, is at least as high as the braking torque applied solely by the hydraulic pressure generator before the transfer.

  • Patent number: 9403480
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for providing feedback in the event of a lane deviation of a vehicle having a power steering system. Vehicle data, such as speed, a steering angle, and the like, may be acquired (e.g., from a sensor system of the vehicle). An activation signal may be generated based on the acquired data. A haptic warning may then be generated using the power steering system of the vehicle based on the activation signal.

  • Publication number: 20160178986
Abstract: A nonlinear frequency conversion (NLFC) component is incorporated into a light source. The light source includes a light emitting element that emits a non-diffraction limited input light beam, and the NLFC component that exhibits walkoff and performs an NLFC process, such as second harmonic generation. An optical component is configured to converge the non-diffraction limited input beam into the NLFC component with a determined convergence half-angle. The convergence half-angle in air in a non-walkoff plane of the NLFC component is larger than a convergence half-angle angle for diffraction-limited light. Said convergence half-angle may be a multiple, ?×M, multiplied by the convergence half-angle value for diffraction-limited light, wherein ? has a value between a lower value equal to the larger of 0.4 and 1/M and an upper value of 5.0, where M is the square root of the beam quality factor for the non-diffraction limited light.

  • Patent number: 9374761
Abstract: A method for routing a terminating call to a user equipment via a first control node for controlling the call, wherein the user equipment is attached to a second control node which is adapted to provide routing information. The method comprises determining, by the second control node, if the user equipment is attached to the second control node over a third control node, wherein the attachment over the third control node indicates that call control shall be performed by a specific service domain. Based on the determining, the provided routing information is selected by the second control node, wherein the routing information indicates to the first control node if the further call establishment to the user equipment is controlled either by the second control node or by the third control node. The call is then routed, by the first control node, according to the selected routing information.
