    Abstract: A sealing structure includes: a first sealing material; and a second sealing material having elasticity higher than elasticity of the first sealing material, and the second sealing material is covered with the first sealing material so that the second sealing material is not exposed to a side of the second sealing surface in a state where the sealing material is attached to the sealing groove. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a sealing structure and a sealing material capable of further improving a radical resistance of the sealing material.

One of the first electrochemical reaction layer and the second electrochemical reaction layer is in a reversibly oxidizable state and the other is in a reversibly reducible state, at least one of the first electrochemical reaction layer and the second electrochemical reaction layer is an electrochromic layer, and E1??0.8 V (vs. FC/FC+) and E2??0.8 V (vs. FC/FC+) are satisfied, where E1 and E2 represent oxidation-reduction potentials of the first electrochemical reaction layer and the second electrochemical reaction layer, respectively.

The color discharge powder source supplies electric power to the electrochromic element when the electrochromic element discharges color. The variable resistance is disposed on a first current path without being disposed on a second current path. The first current path is formed from the color development power source through a ground via the electrochromic element, and the second current path is formed from the color discharge power source to the ground via the electrochromic element.
