Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an organism cultivation facility suitable for industrial, economical, and large-scale cultivation of an organism by efficient air conditioning which is required for the cultivation of the organism. The object can be achieved with an organism cultivation facility comprising, in a building: a cultivation unit having organism containers capable of storing organisms, and a support structure that supports the organism containers; and a conveying device for the organism containers; wherein the organism cultivation facility has a partition wall(s) that can divide the space of the operating area of the conveying device into two or more spaces in the height direction, and at least a part of the partition wall is movable.

Abstract: A side airbag apparatus can suppress the deformation of the periphery of a storage case by reducing a gas pressure applied to the storage case for storing an airbag when the airbag expands. A side airbag apparatus installed between a vehicle body and a rear seat includes a base storage portion that stores an airbag and an inflator. The upper and lower ends of an opening formed on the front side of the vehicle body in the base storage portion are provided with gas pressure relief portions for relieving the gas pressure generated when the airbag expands and deploys toward the vehicle body front side. The gas pressure relief portions are formed to make their widths narrower sequentially from the upper and lower ends of the opening toward the outside of the opening.

Abstract: A cylinder unit includes a cylinder, a rod guide, a piston, a piston rod, and a rebound member provided between the rod guide and the piston to absorb impact generated when the cylinder unit is fully extended. The rebound member includes a coil spring arranged around an outer circumference of the piston rod and a pair of upper and lower holder members fitted to the fixing portions formed in both ends of the coil spring so that the piston rod is inserted into a shaft center hole. The center portion formed between the fixing portions of the coil spring has a diameter smaller than that of the fixing portion.

The surface enamel layer that is an outermost layer of the enamel layers is formed by using a enameling upper glaze wherein at least titanium oxide coated particles, or a titanium oxide glaze together therewith is blended into a transparent mat glaze, so as to render the layer an enamel layer having a predetermined color tone, a surface characteristic that the Rz is from 5 to 25 ?m and a reflective characteristic that the peak gain is 0.28 or more, or having these properties and a glossiness Gs (75°) of 1 to 30%. This makes it possible to produce a blackboard excellent in both of blackboard function and screen function. Abstract: The present invention provides a new type of alpha-helix nucleating cross-link (“staple”) formed by olefin metathesis of a proline derivative with an alkenyl side chain and another amino acid derivative with an alkenyl side chain. The proline derivatives as described herein have been found to be strong nucleators of alpha-helix formation. The invention also provides moieties for shielding the free amide N—H's at the N-terminus of an alpha-helix, thereby further stabilizing the helix. The proline derivatives, precursors prior to cross-linking, and the cross-linked peptides are provided as well as methods of using and preparing these compounds and peptides.
