  • Patent number: 5376773
Abstract: A heater apparatus includes an electrically insulative base plate and a plurality of independent resistors, extending along a length of the base plate, for producing heat upon electric energization thereof. A temperature detecting element detects a temperature of the base plate, and a controller controls a supply of electric power to the plurality of independent resistors so that the temperature detected by the detecting element approaches a predetermined temperature. A selecting device selects at least one of the resistors to be energized to change a resultant resistance of the selected resistors in accordance with an output of the detecting element.

  • Patent number: 5351080
Abstract: A color temperature information forming device has converting means of a plurality of kinds arranged to obtain chrominance signals of a plurality of different kinds by photoelectric converting rays of light of different wave length zones included in an incident light and to accumultate and produce the plurality of chrominance signals. The device detects the level of at least one kind of the chrominance signal among the chrominance signals of the plurality of kinds produced from the plurality of converting means and forms color component information according to the detected level.

  • Patent number: 4942459
Abstract: A color temperature detecting device includes a color component detecting element for detecting electric charges for color components excited by incident light and accumulated with the lapse of time to produce color component signals, a comparison circuit for comparing the color component signals with respective given reference signals to produce discharge time length signals which correspond to the respective accumulated amounts of the electric charges, and an output part for obtaining a ratio between the color components on the basis of the discharge time length signals produced from the comparison circuit to produce a signal according to the ratio as color temperature information.

  • Patent number: 4849997
Abstract: In a timing signal regenerator of a modem which receives a reception modulated signal in a digital communication network, first and second timing signals are generated with the second timing signal generated at first for use as a local timing signal of a predetermined frequency. An A/D converter (26) converts the reception modulated signal to a digital modulated signal in synchronism with the local timing signal. A processor (27) processes the digital modulated signal into a discrete signal in synchronism with the first timing signal. From the discrete signal, an extractor (28) extracts phase error information which becomes at first to be related to a first phase difference between the first timing signal and the reception modulated signal and phase-controls the first timing signal into a reception timing signal. Controlled by a control signal, the reception timing signal is kept in phase synchronism with the reception modulated signal.
