  • Patent number: 5335549
Abstract: In a semiconductor sensor having double diaphragm structure, in which pressure to be measured is applied to diaphragm portions having distortion gages via a liquid filled in spaces partitioned by sealed diaphragms, as circuit elements of a signal processing circuit for processing an output of a distortion gage bridge are integrated in and on a semiconductor chip having diaphragm portions, the number of component parts used is reduced, and a compact size, a low cost, and high reliability are attained. This arrangement can be applied to any of the pressure sensors for detecting absolute pressure, relative pressure, and differential pressure.

  • Patent number: 5266827
Abstract: A semiconductor pressure sensor assembly, comprising a receptacle having a floor and including a first cavity recessed within a first portion of the floor, and a second cavity recessed within a second portion of the floor and connected to the first cavity at a first junction. A semiconductor pressure sensor is within the first cavity, and a plurality of bonding pads are disposed about a periphery of a top surface of the pressure sensor chip other than at a location of the first junction, a plurality of external conducting terminals are disposed about a periphery of the receptacle other than at the location of the first junction, and a plurality of wires connect the external conducting terminals to respective ones of the bonding pads. A gelatinous material is within the first and second cavities, and the second cavity serves as a first work region from which an excess of the gelatinous material within the first cavity can be removed.

  • Patent number: 5042307
Abstract: A pressure sensor circuit has a bridge circuit of strain gauges formed on a silicon diaphragm with two output terminals. The difference in the voltage between the two output terminals is dependent on the pressure applied to the strain gauges. A differential amplifier circuit having an operational amplifier and a feedback circuit amplifies the difference between the two output terminals. A temperature dependent resistor in the feedback circuit provides temperature compensation. An adjustable resistor adjusts the sensitivity of the pressor sensor circuit. Temperature dependent resistors connected between the operational amplifier and reference voltages compensate for zero point temperature fluctuations, and adjustable resistors connected between the operational amplifier and the reference voltages adjust the zero point.

  • Patent number: 4373800
Abstract: A wet type electrophotographic copying machine of the type capable of performing one copy making process during substantially two revolutions of a photoconductor, which is provided with means for forming a liquid developer deposition portion by charging, exposure and development, on the downstream side of an image formation area on the photoconductor, the liquid developer deposition portion capable of substantially narrowing the gap between the photoconductor and a squeegee roller, whereby the squeezing of excess developer from the surface of the photoconductor can be performed at the squeezing initiation point on the photoconductor, thus attaining a sharp squeezing effect, and the adhesion of the excess liquid developer to an image transfer material can be prevented.
