  • Publication number: 20180156277
Abstract: The invention provides a sealing device sealing a foreign material in a machine outer side so as to prevent the foreign material from entering into a machine inner side, having an end face lip which slidably comes into contact with an end face portion of a rotation side part, and applying grease for lubrication to an inner peripheral surface of the end face lip. In the sealing device, an application amount of the grease applied to an inner peripheral surface of a leading end portion in the end face lip is set to be smaller than an application amount of the grease applied to an inner peripheral surface of a root portion in the end face lip. Accordingly, grease applied to an inner peripheral surface of an end face lip is hard to be scattered even in the case that a centrifugal force acts on the sealing device.

  • Publication number: 20180080563
Abstract: A sealing device mounted in a vehicle bearing device, provided with a structure capable of releasing pressure and thus suppressing the internal pressure from increasing, in the event where the internal pressure of the bearing device increases in a sealing device having a seal lip provided toward the inner portion of the bearing device. A protrusion forms a gap between the seal lip and a mating sliding member for adjusting the internal pressure of the bearing device, provided within the range of a sliding portion of the seal lip and on a portion of the circumference of the sliding portion. The protrusion is provided as a protrusion positioned on the tip end portion of the seal lip, a rib-shaped protrusion extending in a shaft direction, and a protrusion with a size that wears out after a predetermined operation time elapses.

  • Publication number: 20160250788
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to effectively prevent the rust generation on a flange portion and to prevent the deformation of the flange portion due to the filling pressure of a molding material in the manufacture of a sealing device whereby a seal main body comprising a rubber-like elastic material and having a portion that covers both surfaces of the flange portion of a metal reinforcing ring is integrally formed on the reinforcing ring by means of a metal mold. To this end, the flange portion of the reinforcing ring is formed in advance with a shape which is distributed unevenly in the direction opposite the direction in which the flange portion is deformed from its original shape by the filling pressure of the molding material.

  • Patent number: 9011121
Abstract: A device that enhances compressor efficiency by reducing pressure losses in a discharge muffler space into which is discharged a refrigerant compressed by a compression unit. A low-stage discharge muffler space is formed in the shape of a ring around a drive shaft. In the low-stage discharge muffler space, a communication port flow guide is provided so as to cover a predetermined area of an opening of a communication port from a side of a flow path in a reverse direction out of two flow paths in different directions around the drive shaft from a discharge port through which is discharged the refrigerant compressed by a low-stage compression unit to the communication port through which the refrigerant flows out. The communication port flow guide transforms a direction of a flow into a direction of a connecting flow path.

  • Patent number: 8790097
Abstract: A refrigerant compressor that enhances compressor efficiency by both reducing an amplitude of pressure pulsations and reducing pressure losses in a discharge muffler space into which is discharged a refrigerant compressed at a compression unit. A low-stage discharge muffler space is formed in the shape of a ring around a drive shaft. In the low-stage discharge muffler space, a discharge port rear guide is provided in the proximity of a discharge port through which is discharged the refrigerant compressed by a low-stage compression unit. The discharge port rear guide is provided at a flow path in one direction out of two flow paths from the discharge port to a communication port in different directions around the drive shaft, and prevents the refrigerant from flowing in that direction, thereby causing the refrigerant to circulate in a forward direction in the ring-shaped discharge muffler space.
