Abstract: Disclosed is a silver halide photographic photosensitive material wherein a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer contains a silver halide emulsion which is comprised of tabular grains. The grains have an aspect ratio at least 2 account for at least 50% of the total number of silver halide grains. The emulsion layer or the layer adjacent thereto also contains a cyan coupler represented by formula (Ia): ##STR1## wherein the variables in the formula are defined in the specification.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic photosensitive material is disclosed, comprising a support having thereon at least one hydrophilic colloid layer, at least one layer of which is a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer. At least 50% of the total projected area of the silver halide grains constituting the at least one silver halide emulsion layer is accounted for by tabular grains having an average aspect ratio of at least 2:1, and a yellow colored cyan coupler is contained in at least one hydrophilic colloid layer.

Abstract: Disclosed is a silver halide color photographic material which comprises a support having thereon at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a pyrazoloazole based magenta coupler, and a coupler which contains a plurality of photographically useful groups or precursors thereof. The photograhically useful groups or precursors thereof are capable of being released when the coupler undergoes a coupling reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agnet.

Abstract: A light-sensitive material having at least one emulsion layer containing silver halide grains, wherein tabular grains having an average aspect ratio of 2 or more occupy at least 50% of the total projected area of all grains, and the material contains a compound which releases two photographically useful groups from one molecule through a timing group and/or a compound which releases a photographically useful group through two timing groups.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material containing at least one coupler compound of the formula (1) in at least one hydrophilic colloid layer which is provided on a support:R.sup.1 OCOCHXCONR.sup.2 R.sup.3 (1)where R.sup.1 represents a branched alkyl group including a cyclic alkyl group and a cyclic alkyl-substituted alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; X represents a group which splits off from the coupler compound when the coupler compound is reacted with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent; and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may be bonded to each other to form a ring. The coupler has a high dye-forming rate to give a dye having a high color density and a high color fastness. The material has improved sharpness and color fastness and an elevated sensitivity.
