  • Patent number: 9523562
Abstract: An aerial vehicle includes an outer surface, an arithmetic unit and a control unit. The arithmetic unit calculates a control command using a control parameter. The control unit controls an attitude of the aerial vehicle or a thrust of the aerial vehicle based on the control command. At least a part of the outer surface of the aerial vehicle is composed of ablation material. The arithmetic unit changes the control parameter in response to an amount of shape change of the aerial vehicle caused by disappearance of the ablation material.

Abstract: A fuel cell includes a membrane electrode assembly, a separator, and a sealing member. The sealing member is provided on a separator surface and includes a base seal portion, a protruding seal portion, a first recessed portion, and a second recessed portion. The protruding seal portion protrudes from the base seal portion in a stacking direction so as to block leakage of at least one of a fuel gas, an oxidant gas, and a coolant which flow along the separator surface. The first recessed portion is disposed on a first side of the protruding seal portion. The second recessed portion is disposed on a second side of the protruding seal portion opposite to the first recessed portion. The first recessed portion and the second recessed portion have a height in the stacking direction smaller than a height of the base seal portion in the stacking direction.

  • Patent number: 9083017
Abstract: A fuel cell stack includes a plurality of unit cells stacked in a stacking direction substantially along a direction of gravity. Each of the plurality of unit cells includes a first metal separator, a second metal separator, and a membrane electrode assembly sandwiched between the first metal separator and the second metal. A reactant gas channel allows a reactant gas to flow along a surface of each of the first and second metal separators. A reactant gas inlet manifold and a reactant gas outlet manifold allow the reactant gas to flow the reactant gas inlet manifold and the reactant gas outlet manifold in the stacking direction. A bridge portion forms a connection channel to connect at least the reactant gas outlet manifold to the reactant gas channel.
