  • Patent number: 6458870
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing an aqueous solution of sulfonated melamine-formaldehyde resin, and a cement composition in which the solution and a setting retarder are added to a concrete, a mortar, a cement paste or the like. And the process comprises the following step (A), step (B) and step (C): Step (A): a step of adjusting an aqueous solution containing melamine (a), formaldehyde (b), sulfanilic acid (c) and an alkali substance (d) to (a):(b):(c)=1:2.5-3.5:0.5-1.5 in molar ratio and its pH to 8.0-13.5, and thereafter heating the aqueous solution at 50-90° C. to conduct the reaction until free sulfanilic acid decreases to 40-90 mol % of the amount of sulfanilic acid charged; Step (B): a step of adding an inorganic acid to the reaction liquid obtained in the step (A) to adjust its pH to 6.0-8.0, and thereafter heating the reaction liquid at 50-90° C.

  • Patent number: 6256280
Abstract: A disc ejection device is provided separate from a disk loading device in a disc device for disc playback or recording. When a disc loaded on a turntable in a disc driving section is ejected, it is lifted up by a moving table, is fed out by a first ejection member, and is then ejected from an ejection slot by a second ejection member disposed near the ejection slot. Immediately after the first ejection member feeds out the disc, it returns to an initial retracted state so as to allow a new disc to be loaded into the disc driving section. Accordingly, the loaded disc and a new disc can be switched inside the disc device.

  • Patent number: 6198713
Abstract: A transmission gear is comprised of a fitting portion of an upper toothed wheel being fit with a fitting portion of a lower toothed wheel so that both are axially movable. Accordingly, even in the event that a lid plate which has a disk introducing mechanism and a clamping chassis which has a clamping mechanism ascend or descend, certain power can be transmitted to a large gear (first gear) and a rotating cam (second gear) in a sure manner. Thus, the disk introducing mechanism and the disk discharging mechanism can both be driven with a single simple power transmitting mechanism. Also, the disk introducing operation and the disk discharging operation can be performed in a parallel manner, thereby reducing the amount of time required to exchange disks.

  • Patent number: 6188663
Abstract: According to the present invention, when a disk package is inserted from an insertion port in X1 direction into a package loading area, an edge portion of a case comes into abutment with a receiving portion of a moving plate and moves from position (a) to position (b) together with the moving plate. At this time, a push-up piece of the moving plate pushes a to-be-pushed-up portion of a contact mechanism portion in Z2 direction, so that the contact mechanism portion is turned in &bgr;2 direction from position (c) to (d). As a result, contacts come into abutment and hence into electrical connection with connection terminals of the disk package. Since this abutment is effected immediately before the loading of the disk package is completed, the contacts slide slightly on the connection terminals.

  • Patent number: 6188664
Abstract: A stopper is disposed so as to be opposite to trays, the drawing lever is disposed so as to be opposite to a tray, the lifting base is disposed opposite to a tray when a package is loaded to the disk operating apparatus to restrain the trays from projecting from the package. The bottom tray can be drawn out by the drawing lever immediately after the loading of the package to the disk operating apparatus. A stopper can be turned by an operation to move a lifting base so that the tray can immediately be drawn out.

  • Patent number: 5687383
Abstract: A translation rule learning scheme for a machine translation using a computer, in which an original sentence in a first language and a translated sentence in a second language of a bilingual text are analyzed to obtain dependency structures indicating a predicate and a case information associated with the predicate in each language; case frame correspondences between the first and second languages are estimated by estimating correspondences of words in the dependency structures in the first and second languages according to a bilingual dictionary; the estimated case frame correspondences are modified by comparing the case information in the dependency structures in the first and second languages and estimating a missing case information in one language from an existing case information in another language; and translation rules are extracted from the modified case frame correspondences.
