  • Publication number: 20140324312
Abstract: A vehicle identification apparatus mounted in a vehicle provided with a detection unit configured to detect a speed of a first other vehicle and a communication unit configured to receive information indicative of a speed of a second other vehicle from the second other vehicle. In the apparatus, a calculation unit calculates an indicator value indicative of a likelihood that the first and second other vehicles are the same, where the indicator value is defined as a function of the speed of the first other vehicle detected by the detection unit and the speed of the second other vehicle indicated by the information received by the communication unit. A determination unit determines whether or not the first and second other vehicles are the same on the basis of the indicator value calculated by the calculation unit.

  • Patent number: 8783867
Abstract: It has been very cumbersome to determine whether or not alignment is required before the fundus image is acquired after the tomographic image is acquired, causing the reduction in diagnostic efficiency. An ophthalmic apparatus is provided to solve this problem, which comprises an irradiation unit that irradiates an eye to be inspected with a first beam for acquiring a tomographic image of the eye and a second beam for acquiring a fundus image of the eye, the second beam having a beam diameter larger than the beam diameter of the first beam; and a determination unit that, based on information indicating a shift amount between an irradiation position of the first beam in the eye and an ocular axis of the eye, determines whether or not the irradiation position of the second beam falls within a range in which the fundus image can be acquired.

  • Patent number: 8390818
Abstract: A beam diameter varying portion varies a first beam diameter of a measuring beam incident on an optical portion to a second beam diameter larger than the first beam diameter. An adjustment portion adjusts a condensing position of the measuring beam on the optical portion based on intensity information of a return beam from a position of an inspection object with the first beam diameter. The beam diameter is varied from the first to the second beam diameter by the beam diameter varying portion at the position adjusted by the adjustment portion to cause the measuring beam having the second beam diameter to be incident. A condensing position can be adjusted in a relatively short time because the measuring beam small in beam diameter is used, and a combined beam can be acquired with high transverse resolution because the measuring beam large in beam diameter is used.

  • Publication number: 20120249961
Abstract: In an OCT device, even if an alignment according to a pupil center and a position where a tomographic image can be photographed at a good position may be different according to a subject, automatic alignment is continued at a position where an image quality is good. In a fundus inspection apparatus, an initial adjustment target position on an obtained anterior ocular segment image and an optical axis of a measurement optical system are coincided with each other, and then initial position adjustment is performed. When an instruction for moving an initial adjustment target position is issued, the measurement optical system is moved by a moving amount corresponding to the instruction. At the same time, the initial adjustment target position on the anterior ocular segment image is changed to a position after the movement of the measurement optical system, and positional adjustment is performed again.
