    Abstract: While performing a tomosynthesis procedure, the breast of a patient is compressed between two compression elements to create an imaging condition. Foam is secured to the rigid substrate of a one of the compression elements. The patient's chest wall is aligned with the leading edge surface of the foam. The inner side of the breast is disposed proximate the lateral edge surface of the foam and the outer side of the breast is disposed proximate the outer lateral edge surface of the foam. A mid-plane is disposed between the inner and outer lateral edge surfaces of the foam. An interface connects a leading edge surface of the foam and compressive surfaces. A portion of the leading edge surface which is aligned with the mid-plane is incompletely compressed.

The adjustable shoring beam engages the securement tracks on the vertical posts and each end is independently adjustable in one degree of freedom. Modular deck tracks on the vertical posts, adjacent to the securement tracks, allow for the engagement of a modular deck with a vertical post. The modular deck and securement beam are able to be moved independently past each other on the vertical posts by a user or an autonomous machine.

The QTDA method achieves an improved exponential speedup and depth complexity of O(n log(1/(??))) where n is the number of data points, ? is the error tolerance, ? is the smallest nonzero eigenvalue of the restricted Laplacian, and achieves quantum advantage on general classical data. The QTDA system and method efficiently realizes a combinatorial Laplacian as a sum of Pauli operators; performs a quantum rejection sampling and projection approach to build the relevant simplicial complex repeatedly and restrict the superposition to the simplices of a desired order in the complex; and estimates Betti numbers using a stochastic trace/rank estimation method that does not require Quantum Phase Estimation. The quantum circuit and QTDA method exhibits computational time and depth complexities for Betti number estimation up to an error tolerance ?.
