Abstract: A method and apparatus for entering an address for a navigation system allows a user to easily and quickly select a key indicating the next character of the address. At the start of operation, the navigation system shows a full alpha-numeric keyboard. Once the next candidate characters are narrowed down to a certain degree, the navigation system shows a simplified keyboard with a limited number of keys on the monitor screen and highlights the next candidate characters on the simplified keyboard. The navigation system displays both the simplified keyboard and a street name list on the same screen. Since the keys of the limited number are arranged within a small space such as in the three-by-three manner, the user can easily point a cursor or other pointing device to the desired key.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for low latency transport of signals. In some embodiments a method may include providing a buffer controller between two consecutive signal transmission processes between a host and a client to synchronize a write from a first of the two consecutive signal transmission processes and a read to a second of the of the two consecutive signal transmission processes, wherein the buffer controller includes a first buffer, a second buffer, and a first status list and a second status list that each provide an association status of the first buffer and the second buffer.

Abstract: A signal simulator is adapted for use with a computerized apparatus having a user input device that generates user input signals upon operation of the user input device, and includes a storage unit for storing program code data associated with target user input signals of the user input device. An interface unit is adapted to establish a data transmission path with the computerized apparatus. A control unit is connected electrically to the storage unit and the interface unit, and is operable so as to generate a string of simulated user input signals corresponding to the program code data in the storage unit and so as to provide the simulated user input signals to the computerized apparatus via the interface unit, thereby enabling the computerized apparatus to make a response corresponding to the target user input signals.

The grip portion of each of the curved members includes a convex upper side. The ergonomic handle is made of a compound material. The grip portion of each of the curved members includes a convex upper side for intimate contact with the palm of the rider's hand. The grip portion of each of the curved members includes a planar face formed on the lower side for increasing an area for contact with the fingers of the rider's hand. The planar face extends in a longitudinal direction of the grip portion.
