  • Publication number: 20240099307
Abstract: A method for making an antimicrobial composite film can include forming a first coating layer by applying a first coating material on a substrate and forming a second coating layer by applying a second coating material on the first coating layer. The first coating material can comprise a first resin. The second coating material can comprise an antimicrobial material in a second resin or a dispersion. The first coating material can have a lower concentration of the antimicrobial material than the second coating material. The first and second coating layers can cooperatively define a composite film. The antimicrobial material can be asymmetrically dispersed in the composite film such that the antimicrobial material is concentrated closer to the outer surface of the composite film than to the inner surface of the composite film.

  • Patent number: 11941065
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating record clusters. The methods comprise receiving a plurality of records from data sources and providing at least a subset of the records to a scoring model that determines scores for various pairings of the records, a score for a given pair of the records representing a probability that the given pair of records contain data elements about the same entity. The method further comprises generating a graph data structure that includes a plurality of nodes, individual nodes representing a different record from the records. The method also comprises assigning a different unique identifier to individual clusters of the final clusters and responding to a request for data regarding a given entity by providing aggregated data elements from those records of the records associated with a cluster of the final clusters having an identifier that represents the given entity.

  • Publication number: 20240086391
Abstract: Systems and methods for inspection and repair of VSAN object metadata. A user-space indirection layer is maintained to map logical addresses of VSAN objects to physical memory addresses of their metadata. Commands may then be sent from the user space to distributed object manager (DOM) clients, with the physical addresses of metadata of objects to be inspected. DOM owners thus may bypass their own indirection layers to retrieve object metadata directly from received user commands. Retrieved information is then used to reconstruct and repair object metadata. Repaired metadata may be written back to the VSAN by transmitting a write request containing the physical address at which the repaired metadata is to be written. DOM owners may be placed in a specified mode in which received I/O instructions are ignored unless they are designated as being for metadata repair purposes, such as by including a physical address.

  • Patent number: 11928318
Abstract: An artificial intelligence-based system and method for automatically generating and adjusting tags associated with one or more UI/UX related components or features is provided. Analysis may be performed on the data collected by the one or more tags so that design change recommendations can be dynamically recommended and/or implemented. When design changes are implemented, the system may automatically reconfigure or adjust all relevant tags. The AI-based system may be a standalone platform or may be incorporated into existing UI/UX programs.

  • Patent number: 11919194
Abstract: A method of plugging channels of a honeycomb body and a honeycomb body including plugged channels. The method includes applying a shear force to a plugging mixture including a plurality of inorganic particles, clay, and a liquid vehicle to alter the viscosity of the plugging mixture from a first viscosity prior to the vibrating to a second viscosity which is less than the first viscosity. A honeycomb body is placed into contact with the plugging mixture such that a portion of the plugging mixture having the second viscosity flows into the plurality of channels. Application of the shear force is stopped or reduced to increase the viscosity of the portion of the plugging mixture in the plurality of channels to greater than the first viscosity.

  • Patent number: 11729439
Abstract: Systems and methods configured to detect and manage video transcoder latencies are described. A manifest is received and is used to request video segments included in a manifest playlist. A transcoder having an input and output is used to transcode video segments. A delta time for a first SCTE-35 marker between the transcoder input and the transcoder output is determined, where the delta time corresponds to a transcoder latency. A determination is made as to whether a corrective action needs to be taken with respect to the latency, and such corrective action is taken as needed. The corrective action may include a transcoder reset. The manifest may be a text file and may be in the form of an HLS or DASH manifest. Additionally, streaming latencies may be reduced by switching content distribution systems, increasing the number of edge systems distributing content to clients, and/or by increasing video cache memory.

  • Patent number: 11411650
Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to a component bridge that couples to a feedthrough device to provide additional component mounting surface area within a TOSA housing, and preferably, within a hermetically-sealed TOSA housing. The component bridge includes a body that defines a component mounting surface to couple to electrical components, e.g., one or more filtering capacitors, and a notched portion to provide an accommodation groove. The component bridge includes at least one projection/leg for coupling to a mounting surface of a feedthrough device. The accommodation groove of the component bridge allows for other electrical components, e.g., RF traces, to be patterned/disposed on to the mounting surface and extend at least partially through the accommodation groove while remaining electrically isolated from the same. Accordingly, the component bridge further increases available component mounting surface area for existing feedthrough devices without necessity of re-design and/or modification.
