  • Patent number: 9753841
Abstract: According to a computer-implemented method, a determination is made of content of an inbound request that is received at a composite software application from a client. The composite software application utilizes features from an application component that is deployed independently from the composite software application. A determination is made of content of an outbound request that is transmitted from the composite software application to the application component, with the outbound request being triggered by the inbound request. A determination is also made of content of a response to the inbound request that is transmitted from the composite software application to the client. The content of each of the inbound request, the response to the inbound request, and the outbound request are recorded in a repository as a baseline test case for regression testing of the composite software application.

  • Patent number: 9747262
Abstract: A method includes extracting text elements from a webpage, storing the text elements in a data structure, and comparing the text elements in the data structure with a Document Object Model (DOM) structure of the webpage. The extracted text elements may then be processed and exported to a display format. Information from a webpage can, therefore, be extracted for processing using other applications regardless of how the elements were coded to form the webpage.

  • Patent number: 9740457
Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a computer-implemented method is disclosed. From a plurality of data sources, software development data is obtained that relates to development of a software application and includes a time and description of multiple types of events that occurred during a predefined time period during development of the software application. A view selection of one of a plurality of views is received, wherein each view has a respective predefined timeline display template. The software development data is formatted according to the predefined timeline display template of the view selection to obtain a timeline of the software development data. The timeline of the software development data is displayed on an electronic display.

  • Patent number: 9720813
Abstract: Information associated with tests performed on an application program is captured and stored in memory. This information is then used to recommend a set of regression tests to a user for use in regression testing the application. Particularly, responsive to being notified about a change in the program code, the device analyzes the stored information and recommends a selected set of regression tests to a user based on the results of that analysis. The recommended tests enable the user to adequately regression test the program code in the application program using an optimal number of test cases.

  • Patent number: 9591230
Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing or substantially eliminating image flicker are provided. The method includes capturing a frame from a video data stream from a monitored region at a frame capture rate wherein the monitored region is illuminated by a lighting system with a predetermined cycle variation, determining a minimum common multiple of the frame capture rate and the cycle variation, determining a number of frames captured within the determined minimum common multiple of the frame capture rate and the cycle variation, and measuring accumulation at a multiple of the determined number of frames. Measuring the accumulation at a multiple of the determined number of frames substantially eliminates image flicker in the video data stream.

  • Patent number: 9547579
Abstract: Data being processed by source code modules of a test version of an application is captured and analyzed during execution of the test version of the application. Based on the analysis, errors caused by the source code modules of the test version of the application are automatically detected. Based on a comparison of the source code modules associated with the test version of the application to corresponding source code modules associated with a baseline version of the application, the source code module in the test version of the application that caused the error is identified and reported to a developer or other appropriate personnel so that the error may be corrected.

  • Publication number: 20160350831
Abstract: A system and method for generating a recommendation counter for a business entity based on social networking interactions is provided. In an embodiment, a social networking server provides an interface for users of social networking accounts to request recommendations for business entities and to reply to the requests with recommendations. When the social networking server computer receives a recommendation for a particular business entity, the social networking server computer determines whether the recommending social networking account has recommended the particular business entity in the past. In response to determining that the social networking account has not recommended the particular business entity in the past, the social networking server computer increments a recommendation counter for the particular business entity.

  • Patent number: 9477444
Abstract: A control server receives information from detector agents associated with an application program being executed by a processor. The information, which is collected by the detector agents at runtime of the application, includes data with which the control server can generate a representation of the software architecture for the application. The control server compares the generated representation to representations of a set of known acceptable architectures. Based on the results of that comparison, the control server indicates whether the architecture of the application is a valid architecture. Recommendations for modifying the architecture of the application may be made in cases where the architecture is not deemed valid by the control server.

  • Patent number: 9442718
Abstract: A method for providing a source code version control system may comprise parsing source code of a software product to format the software product into a tree structure comprising a plurality of components. The method may comprise separating each of the plurality of components among the tree structure based upon respective content, and receiving an updated version of a component. In addition, the method may comprise comparing the updated version of the component to a previously checked-out version of the component to identify changes, and associating the changes with the respective content of the updated version of the component. Further, the method may comprise storing the identified changes of the updated version of the component, updating the tree structure, and presenting, based on a selected component, the updated version of the component, the identified changes with the updated version of the component, and the previously checked-out version of the component.

  • Publication number: 20160008878
Abstract: A mold for making a workpiece is shown performing the steps of positioning a workpiece in a cavity of the mold, moving a first mold piece and a second mold piece towards a closed configuration with an extending wall of the first mold piece pressing into a peripheral portion of the workpiece so as to hold the workpiece between the first and second mold pieces, wherein a space is defined between the workpiece and a surface of the first mold piece in the closed configuration, the space receiving a molding material so as to form at least a second layer of the workpiece, and pressing the extending wall of the first mold piece into the peripheral portion of the workpiece to form a seal between the extending wall and the workpiece to prevent flow of a fluid through the seal. Moveable pieces for such a mold are shown.
