  • Patent number: 10467284
Abstract: The technology relates to determining an establishment's presence at a geolocation. A computing device may receive a first image including location data associated with the first image's capture. A set of images, which include location information and one or more identification marks associated with one or more establishments may also be received. The computing device may compare the first image to the set of images to determine whether the first image contains one of the one or more identification marks, and determine that one of the one or more establishments, associated with the one of the one or more identification marks contained in the first image, is currently located within a set proximity of the first image location. The computing device may also update a location database by associating the one of the one or more establishments with a location within a set proximity of the first image location.

  • Publication number: 20190275533
Abstract: A reactor system has a number of stations arranged to recover mineral particles in a slurry. The system includes a hopper to receive the slurry and barren media having hydrophobic coating to attract the mineral particles. The hopper provides a mixture of barren media and slurry to a tumbler arranged to stir the mixture in order to increase the contact between the slurry and the barren media so as to allow the mineral particles to attach to the barren media to form mineral laden media. The mineral laden media are conveyed to a rinsing station where water jets are used to wash the gangue materials off the mineral laden media. The rinsed mineral laden media are mixed with a surfactant so that the mineral particles are released from the mineral laden media. High-pressure water and air jets are then used to remove remaining surfactant from the released media.

  • Publication number: 20190078632
Abstract: An assembly to secure a disc brake rotor to a wheel hub utilizing spring pins and a retaining ring is provided. A partial keyway is formed in the rotor, and a partial keyway is formed in the wheel hub. The rotor is fitted over an inwardly extending section of the hub, with the partial keyways in the rotor and in the wheel hub being aligned to form complete keyways. The spring pins are then press fit into the completed keyways. Finally, a retaining ring is installed into a slot formed in the inwardly extending section of the wheel hub to complete the assembly of the disc brake rotor assembly.

  • Publication number: 20180200478
Abstract: Systems and methods for delivering a catheter to a location of interest in the vasculature, the method including selectively positioning a guidewire at the location, positioning a self-expanding sheath within a lumen of the catheter, advancing the catheter and the self-expanding sheath in tandem over the guidewire, and distally moving a distal end of the self-expanding sheath out from an inner lumen of the catheter thereby causing the self-expanding sheath to move from a collapsed state within the catheter to an expanded state outside the catheter.

  • Patent number: 9808255
Abstract: An embolic coil detachment system includes an elongated, flexible shape memory polymer tube having an inner wall surface defining an interior lumen. A distal portion of the shape memory polymer tube has an enlarged and reduced diameter configurations. An embolic coil is releasably mounted to the shape memory polymer tube by a headpiece releasably attached within a distal portion of the shape memory polymer tube. A resistive heating element disposed longitudinally along and in immediate contact with the inner wall surface of the distal tubular wall of the shape memory polymer tube provides direct, even heating to release the headpiece and embolic coil attached thereto when the resistive heating element is energized.

  • Patent number: 9804748
Abstract: Systems and methods for presenting information in response to a user interaction with a geographic image at a point of query in a geographic information system are provided. A user can request information at point of query in the geographic image. Responsive to the user request, the geographic information system can search for and obtain information associated with the request. As part of the logic used to return information responsive to a request at a point of query, a zone of influence can be defined for one or more features depicted in the image. The zone of influence can be defined by a pixel threshold in a pixel space associated with the geographic image. The pixel threshold can be constant across a plurality of zoom levels of the geographic image.

  • Publication number: 20170039264
Abstract: The technology relates to determining a description of a geographic area. One or more computing devices may receive a set of images, wherein each image includes data associated with geolocation data and labels describing the contents of the images. Each image in the set of images may be assigned to one or more buckets corresponding to a geographic area based at least in part on the geolocation information. Based on an inquiry identifying one or more geolocations, a set of one or more buckets that are associated with geographic areas that cover the one or more geolocations may be determined. Labels associated with the images assigned to the set of buckets may be identified and a description of the one or more geolocations may be generated. The description may be provided in response to the request.

  • Publication number: 20150218440
Abstract: Methods for providing polymer to a wellbore site include mixing a dry polymer with an aqueous medium at a location remote from the wellbore for a period of time sufficient for substantially complete hydration, transporting the hydrated polymer solution to the wellbore site, and injecting at least a portion of the hydrated polymer solution external to a chemical blending tub at the wellbore site to reduce shearing of the polymer. The hydrated polymer solution can be injected at the low or high pressure regions of the system manifold, before or after the high pressure pumps, before or after the blending tub, or any combination of injection points. Non-ionic polymer solutions can be used due to the fact that the solution is hydrated prior to transport, and no additional mixing or fluid at the wellbore site is necessary to hydrate the polymer.
