  • Patent number: 6332355
Abstract: An injection unit including a heating barrel and an injection screw rotationally and axially movable and placed in the heating barrel is disposed on one side of a clamping mechanism for clamping a mold. The injection screw is driven and controlled for operation through a ball screw by an electric motor. Products, each of a moving speed of the ball screw and an operating current supplied to the electric motor in a unit time, are accumulated to calculate a total energy value indicating the amount of total energy supplied to the ball screw. A life energy value is predetermined on the basis of products, each of force generated by the ball screw and a moving speed of the ball screw. It is decided that a life of the ball screw has terminated when the total energy value A is equal to or greater than the life energy B (A≧B).

  • Patent number: 6325954
Abstract: An injection speed control procedure is applied to controlling an injection screw included in an electric injection molding machine and driven by an electric motor. An injection process is divided into a plurality of injection stages. Injection speed at which the injection screw is moved is changed at a time point when a value PS obtained by integrating injection pressure with respect to the position of the injection screw or a value PT obtained by integrating injection pressure with respect to injection time coincides with a predetermined reference value determined for each injection stage.

  • Patent number: 5896290
Abstract: A man-machine interface system for a process controller according to the present invention enables its direct picture select button function to be effectively used by each user, and is improved in the operability of picture selection for interrupt display. The system includes a display, a picture data controller for controlling the pictures, which are displayed on the display, and at least one direct picture select button for requesting the display of an interrupt picture on the display to set control requirements and monitor operating conditions with the controller. In response to the interrupt picture display request by the button, a specified picture is displayed as an interruption on the display. The system further includes an interrupt picture definition table for setting by the user to changeably define on a user's setting picture the picture for interrupt display. The interrupt picture set by the user can be displayed independently of the initialization hierarchy by only operating the button.

  • Patent number: 5863474
Abstract: A method and system of controlling a screw engaging position adjuster provided in a complex mold clamping system. A theoretical deviation of a screw engaging position is theoretically calculated on the basis of a distance by which a movable die has been moved from an origin set for a mold thickness adjustment in clamping process. A measured deviation of the screw engaging position is measured from a distance between a mold clamping cylinder and a movable platen in clamping process. The screw engaging position adjuster is so controlled that a difference between the theoretical deviation and the measuring deviation is within an allowable deviation having previously been set.

  • Patent number: 5778085
Abstract: In an audio conference device for housing an acoustic echo canceller function, a speaker and a microphone in a portable frame, a microphone 5 is provided in a tubular elastic member 4 whose tip end has been protruded in the shape of a funnel. This elastic member 4 is mounted so that its funnel-shaped tip end protrudes outwardly from the frame. With this structure, it is possible to prevent the speech sound, which propagates inside the frame from the speaker from being collected by the microphone, thus making it possible to reduce the degree of acoustic combination between the microphone and the speaker.

  • Patent number: 5597588
Abstract: The barrel temperature control apparatus for an injection molding machine can execute the barrel temperature control in such a way as to optimize the disturbance suppression characteristics. The temperature control section 7 comprises the manipulated variable addition and subtraction section 14 at the rear stage of the PiD control section 12 in such a way that the barrel temperature of the injection molding machine 1 can be controlled under both feedback and feed-forward. Further, when the same products are molded continuously, the barrel temperature is feed-forward controlled on the basis of the learned change manipulated variable.
