  • Patent number: 11297689
Abstract: In one embodiment a system comprises a master unit configured to receive a base station downlink radio frequency signal and transmit a base station uplink radio frequency signal; and a plurality of remote antenna units each communicatively coupled to the master unit using at least one cable, the remote antenna units each configured to radiate a remote downlink radio frequency signal from at least one antenna and to receive a remote uplink radio frequency signal from the at least one antenna. The master unit comprises a channel selective uplink muting circuit. The master unit receives and monitors uplink transport signals from the remote uplink radio frequency signal to identify one or more channels within the uplink transport signals that are not carrying uplink communications traffic; wherein the channel selective uplink muting circuit selectively mutes channels of the uplink transport signals that are not carrying uplink communications traffic.

  • Publication number: 20220081343
Abstract: A method is provided that includes providing a glass sheet of a thickness of at most 300 ?m and irradiating the glass sheet with a pulsed laser beam. The laser beam has a light intensity inside the glass sheet leaves a filamentary damage along its path through the glass sheet. The laser beam and the glass sheet are moved relative to each other so that due to the pulses of the laser beam filamentary damages are inserted next to one another along a path running on the glass sheet. During the insertion of the filamentary damages, a tensile stress is applied on the glass at the filamentary damages and in the direction transverse to the path of the adjacent filamentary damages so that the glass sheet separates along the path during insertion of the filamentary damages.

Abstract: An apparatus for monitoring an actuator system, a method for providing an apparatus for monitoring an actuator system, and a method for monitoring an actuator system where the has at least one actuator and at least one data output signal. An anomaly detector detects anomalies. A suppressing engine determines time periods in which a control intervention has been performed. In a resulting monitoring signal, only anomalies are indicated which do not overlap with time periods in which the control intervention has been performed resulting in less irrelevant alerts and false positives output to a human supervisor monitoring the actuator system. The apparatus for monitoring a system may be provided with a plurality of actuators that may affect one another over time. • Publication number: 20210312837
Abstract: A fiber Bragg grating (FBG) security component for single-party and multi-party monitoring is provided. The security component includes an optical fiber having a plurality of Bragg gratings. The Bragg gratings provide a spectral response that is randomized based on the manufacture of the security component. For single-party use, the spectral response provides a reproducible spectral signature when interrogated with an optical signal. For multi-party use, each party applies a known optical interrogation signal to the security component and applies an external stress known only to the respective monitoring party. The resulting shift in the spectral signature is unique to each monitoring party, making it extremely difficult to successfully counterfeit the security component's response for all such parties.
