Patent number: 7324147Abstract: An imaging system controller (5) outputs a control signal (VC). The control signal (VC) gives a command to output driving clocks (?Vn, ?Hm) of an imaging element (1) in a signal transmission period, and a command to suspend output of the clocks (?Vn, ?Hm) in an idle period subsequent to the signal transmission period. The length of the idle period is a multiple of the length of the signal transmission period by a natural number. The imaging system controller (5) periodically repeats output of the control signal (VC) giving these commands a number of times corresponding to the number of horizontal lines of the imaging element (1). In response to the commands of the control signal (VC), a timing generator (2) generates and outputs the clocks (?Vn, ?Hm), and suspends generation and output of the same. An imaging device (10) thereby intermittently drives the imaging element (1), to generate and output a picked-up image signal (V2).Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2002Date of Patent: January 29, 2008Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kozo Ishida, Tetsuya Kuno, Koichi Yamashita, Hiroaki Sugiura, Takashi Itow

Publication number: 20070126896Abstract: A regression analysis is carried out (8) using pixel signals having a K-th spectral characteristic as the explanatory variable and pixel signals having an L-th spectral characteristic as the purpose variable in a plurality of pixel positions in an area neighboring a pixel of interest to obtain a pixel signal having the L-th spectral characteristic (9). Pixel signals obtained by low-pass filtering (7a-7c) of the output signals of an imaging device may be used as the explanatory variable and the purpose variable. The occurrence of false colors is thereby reduced when, in a group of pixel signals from pixels arrayed on a two-dimensional plane, each pixel having one of a plurality of spectral characteristics, the missing colors at each pixel position are obtained by interpolation.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 10, 2004Publication date: June 7, 2007Applicant: MITSUBISHI DENKI KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Junko Makita, Shoutarou Moriya, Hiroaki Sugiura, Koichi Yamashita, Takashi Itow, Tetsuya Kuno

Patent number: 6221805Abstract: A catalyst support, a catalyst using the catalyst support and a process for producing the same are disclosed. For instance, the catalyst support includes a composite oxide powder produced by spraying and burning a W/O type emulsion, the W/O type emulsion including an aqueous solution dispersed in an organic solvent, the aqueous solution containing aluminum as a major component and at least one co-metallic element in addition to the aluminum. Thus, the catalyst support can be produced less expensively without using any expensive alkoxide. Further, due to the spraying and burning, the composite oxide powder is composed of porous hollow particles which have a very thin shell thickness of dozens of nanometers, and makes the catalyst support which is amorphous and exhibits a large specific surface area. Hence, the catalyst support can maintain the large specific surface area even after a high-temperature durability test.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 1999Date of Patent: April 24, 2001Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Koichi Yamashita, Shinji Tsuji, Naoto Miyoshi, Oji Kuno, Masahiko Sugiyama, Kazumasa Takatori, Takao Tani, Nobuo Kamiya
