  • Publication number: 20100265212
Abstract: Provided is an electrostatic capacity type touch panel, which responds to not only an input by a finger but also a touch by a nonconductive input member. Disposed are X electrodes XP and Y electrodes YP that cross each other via a first insulating layer 2, and a Z electrode formed of a transparent elastic conductive resin layer 4 via a second insulating layer 3. The transparent elastic conductive resin layer 4 is a high polymer elastic resin layer in which conductive fine particles are dispersed, and is made of a material in which density of the conductive fine particles is increased by pressure of a touch.

  • Publication number: 20100262798
Abstract: Upon receiving a primary/secondary switching command from a secondary host system, a secondary storage control device interrogates a primary storage control device as to whether or not yet to be transferred data that has not been remote copied from the primary storage control device to the secondary storage control device is present. In the event that yet to be transferred data is present, the secondary storage control device receives yet to be transferred data from the primary storage control device and updates a secondary volume. The primary storage control device then manages positions of updates to the primary volume due to host accesses to the primary volume occurring at the time of the secondary storage control device receiving the primary/secondary switching command onwards using a differential bitmap table.

  • Publication number: 20100259504
Abstract: Provided is a touch-panel device capable of detecting a touched position with high accuracy even when a touched area extends off an electrode area. According to the present invention, the touched area is assumed to be, for example, a circular in shape. A width in an X direction (overlap width (X46)) and a width in a Y direction (overlap width (Y47)) of an area where the touched area in a circular shape and an electrode area (6) overlap each other may be determined based on sensor measured values. When the overlap width (X46) and the overlap width (Y47) are different from each other, it is judged that the touched area extends off the electrode area, and a position of a center of the touched area in the circular shape is calculated as the touched position.

  • Publication number: 20100205330
Abstract: In a storage system having a plurality of storage apparatuses, each of the storage apparatuses stores therein a coupling mode that is information indicative of whether or not to permit setting of a communication path between each of the storage apparatuses and a plurality of other storage apparatuses. A management apparatus is provided to be coupled for communication to each of the storage apparatuses. The management apparatus has a communication path setting part that provides a user interface for setting the communication path. The communication path setting part does not permit setting of the communication path, at the time of setting the communication path, when the coupling modes of both of the storage apparatuses between which the communication path is to be set are set permissible.

  • Patent number: 7738499
Abstract: An audio/video synchronizing system and a monitor apparatus can provide a set of contents where the images and the sounds of the contents show lip synchronization to the user so that the user may not have any strange and uneasy feeling if only the images are transmitted wirelessly. A contents server outputs sounds of a set of contents at a timing delayed by an initial delay time (1 second) that is greater than the transmission delay time according to the PTS and the DTS defined by the contents server by taking the largest transmission delay into consideration. The monitor corrects the time base of the STC added to the video packets according to the transmission delay time and subsequently outputs the images according to the SCR, the time base of which is corrected, and the PTS and the DTS, for which the initial delay time is defined.

  • Patent number: 7698518
Abstract: The usage amount of a pool area is avoided from becoming equal to 100%, thereby preventing all snapshot images from being crashed. There is provided a disk-array apparatus including a control processor. Here, the control processor controls a data reading/writing from/into a first logical volume created using a memory area of plural disk drives, and controls past data such that the past data is written into a second logical volume as differential data on each generation basis, the past data being stored into the first logical volume, and manages the differential data. If the amount of the differential data stored into the second logical volume has exceeded a first predetermined value, the control processor determines a generation of the differential data to be deleted from among the differential data written into the second logical volume. The control processor deletes the differential data of the generation determined.

  • Publication number: 20100060609
Abstract: In a touched position detection method for a touch panel for detecting a touched position, based on measured values by a plurality of sensors, presence of a touch is determined when a measured value by a sensor exceeds a touch threshold. As a touch threshold, a value which cannot be attained due to a mere noise but can due to presence of a touch is set. With respect to sensors located in the vicinity of a sensor showing a high measured value, a higher weighted value is applied to modify a measured value in a touched position calculation process than that to be applied to other sensors.

  • Patent number: 7644244
Abstract: A highly advantageous storage system and a snapshot management method. In the storage system, write target data sent from a host computer to a first storage controller is duplicated and stored in the first storage controller and also in a second storage controller; when the first storage controller receives a request from the host computer to create a snapshot in the second storage controller, it suspends transferring differential data to the second storage controller, creates a new first snapshot, and transfers differential data for the created first snapshot together with the untransferred differential data for a previous first snapshot for which transferring had been suspended, to the second storage controller.
