    Abstract: A method is for producing an electrode terminal connector for electrically connecting together a positive terminal and a negative terminal of mutually dissimilar metals. The method includes pressing a first plate of a similar metal to the positive terminal to form a mounting hole in the first plate, pressing a second plate of a similar metal to the negative terminal to form a metallic member which is larger in diameter than the mounting hole, and inserting the metallic member into the mounting hole by press fitting to join the first plate and the metallic member together. The method further includes providing the metallic member with an intervening layer of metal having an ionization tendency between an ionization tendency of metal constituting the first plate and an ionization tendency of metal constituting the second plate, and the first plate and the metallic member are joined together via the intervening layer.

A flange-equipped sleeve includes a sleeve section attached to a neck section and an internal flange section extended from the sleeve section across the outer boundary and attached to an inner wall of the tank body. The flange-equipped sleeve contains a resin having a higher heat-resistant temperature than a resin constituting the tank body. When the lid member closes the opening section, the tubular section is housed inside the sleeve section. The external flange section contacts the top of the neck section and the sleeve section. An inner circumference of the seal member is attached to the outer boundary of the neck section.

    Abstract: In a liquid-metal cooled reactor equipped with a primary cooling system, a secondary cooling system and a steam turbine power generation system, or equipped with a primary cooling system and a steam power generation system, an alkali metal thermoelectric converter is disposed between the primary cooling system or the secondary cooling system and the steam turbine power generation system. Heat of the primary cooling system or the secondary cooling system is supplied to a high-temperature side of the alkali metal thermoelectric converter and waste heat on a low-temperature side of the alkali metal thermoelectric converter is supplied to the steam turbine power generation system. Thus, power generation by the steam turbine power generation system is performed simultaneously with power generation by the alkali metal thermoelectric converter. As a result, the power generation efficiency of the whole plant can be significantly increased.

The inner wall surface and the ribs of the curved wall are coated with an antivibration material made of soft resin.

A knee joint 80 of a thigh prosthesis 170 is of a multi-axis structure, and a front and a rear link 130, 150 together with an upper thigh member 110 and a lower thigh member 120 constitutes a constrained chain. An extension auxiliary mechanism 1100 having a compression spring is supported between the lower thigh member 120 and the rear link 150. An extension torque generated by the extension auxiliary mechanism 1100 is determined by a product of a force caused by biasing of the compression spring and a distance from a line of action of the force to the center of rotation of the rear link 150. Here, at a stage where the bending angle of the knee exceeds, for example, 15 degrees, an axis of the compression spring is brought generally into alignment with a connecting portion 170O between the rear link 150 and the lower thigh member 120.
